Using Jamroom

You should be able to revert to a previous module version in Marketplace > Tools

Look for the Release Archive button - "Previous version of modules and skins that can be restored"

Do you mean a background image, like the blue gradient here on jamroom.net?

If so, you can add that as a background in your css. Jamroom.net uses this:
.index-splash {
    background-image: url('https://www.jamroom.net/image/img/skin/jrJamroomNet/bg2.jpg');
    background-size: 100% 100%;
    -webkit-background-size: 100%;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: top center;
    background-attachment: fixed;
}

You might not have a div with the class "index-splash", try adding it to body or html

I would try using jrCore_list to search for the latest youtube on a profile (use the return_item_id_only parameter), then use that item_id in your youtube embed.

Is it worth the time spent to make a hackintosh? From reading about it you'll save a couple of hundred dollars, but not have the design of an apple.

Customize ACP menu

Hi Danny

Is that the ACP dropdown in the user menu top right? Only the Master Admin sees that:
That would be header_menu_desktop.tpl and header_menu_mobile.tpl in the active skin directory.

Or if it's the accordion menu in the ACP, admin.tpl in jrCore/templates/

in jrRating change this:
if (isset($params['template']{0})) {
        $params['tpl_dir'] = $_conf['jrCore_active_skin'];
    }
    else {
        $params['template'] = "{$params['type']}_rating_form.tpl";
        $params['tpl_dir']  = 'jrRating';
    }
To this:
if (isset($params['template']) && $params['template'] != '' && $params['tpl_dir']) {
    //allow other modules to set the tpl_dir.
}
elseif (isset($params['template']{0})) {
        $params['tpl_dir'] = $_conf['jrCore_active_skin'];
    }
    else {
        $params['template'] = "{$params['type']}_rating_form.tpl";
        $params['tpl_dir']  = 'jrRating';
    }
Same in jrLike but with $params['tpl_dir'] = 'jrLike';

@spiritwolfie Having to pay to uninstall a plugin is outrageous. We don't have anything like that around here for sure. I only do skype with clients and sorry but I can't take any more clients at the moment - my best advice is to dive into your trial and post to the forum for help if you get stuck with anything. My guess is that Jamroom will be fairly intuitive compared with your current solution, and you definitely won't have to pay to uninstall a plugin or anything like that!
