I'm back up and running. I backed up a database from 2 days ago and now it's looking okay but I am a bit worried of updating the modules in case it crashes again and I haven't updated my other site still working on Subscriptions 1.4.8 things went wrong updating to 1.4.9

I think the database might be corrupt. When I look at the DB for my other sites and browse the jr_jruser_item key table it's different and when I log in as a user some things are corrupt.
Would it make a difference if I exported the sql and do a clean install except skins and data folders (using the ones I have) then install, then replace the sql? Would it work?

I was looking at the wrong db. The correct one...item 1 is missing, but I am unsure how to add it

I checked the jr_jruser_item_key and found the user name and email address but when I put the address in the 'forgot password' it's as before 'An Account with that email addresws does not exist?

The site is working for signed up people to login etc. It does not recognise Admin, it says 'An account with that email address or user name was not found - please try again' So Admin has no way of logging in, this is why it cannot send email to retrive the password.

Hi Paul, I was trying to get my password for you Paul (because onlog in it shows as ********* so logs in but I forgot the password. Now I have broke it and cannot login at all. I can't find the phpfile that used to sort this, only the repair.php which I used to no avail.
My hosting company installed a backup but this has made no difference. 'Forgot password' does not send an email so I am at a loss Could you advise please

On one of my sites I just upgraded the Subscription from 1.4.8 and there appear to be issues. The subscriptions previously created no longer display and the accounts that choose a subscription no longer display in their account.

Hi Brian, unfortunatly this is beyond my experience. What would it cost me for one of your developers to create the necessary "Events and Listeners" and add the code that I would obtain from the developer. He doesn't want to get involved with software he doesn't know about. It's an affiliate programme from MaianAffiliats.

The developer has an Affiliate programme that should work with most php sites. He needs to add some code to the correct one, I donot use FoxyCart so I will explain what you have said. Thanks Michael
