How do I remove old Proxima licenses

Installation and Configuration

Hello guys,

I have a question, if a particular license is active on a domain how do we remove the license when the module is no longer available on jr marketplace? In my case, I have proxima licenses attached to my domain but I no longer have the modules installed. I tried removing them from my licenses section here but I get invalid license error.

Also, my jr is also saying in the system check that memcache is not active. To my understanding, that is a function that is associated with proxima but I don’t have any of those installed. Is there a way that I can stop my jr from displaying memcache (ACPu functions) not active in system check? Granted, It’s not affecting my site as I’m using redis for cache

JrCore Router using too much CPU power

Using Jamroom

Sorry for the delay guys, I've been at it for the past few days. I've concluded that it was php7.4 causing my jr site to load slowly, In addition to Caching being turned off. After turning on Full page caching and ensuring Developer Mode was off, I tried php7.3 & 7.2. So far they had my jr rolling back to normal. I just wish that my hosting provider would give us an heads up before changing php versions.

So if your jr site is running slowly, make sure you're not using php7.4 because there are some resource hungry JS modules that will cause your site to load slowly. Thanks guys. this thread is now solved. cheers

JrCore Router using too much CPU power

Using Jamroom

Hello Michael, thanks for chiming in. I'm currently in the process of completing a reboot. heck, I haven't reboot in over a year lol. I did confirm that developer mode is turned off. For some odd reason the full page caching option was unchecked. I ticked the box, save settings and reset cache & integrity check. I did get a couple page loads pretty quick but but a couple of those page loads were 5-7sec. much better than before tho. perhaps things will settle down after i've given the system enough time to cache everything. 368 accts, etc.

JrCore Router using too much CPU power

Using Jamroom

Hello Guys,

Without publicly giving away too much info about our file names, location, etc. I will refer to them by their respective names. I also have screenshots. In respect of jr internals, I will only privately share the screenshot in a DM with a member of the jr team (if allowed)

*** My issue: My jr core router (wink) seems to be using too much cpu power and it often cause my jr to run slower than the previous version. examples of issues includes: high cpu usage (on router), high server load, long page loads (throughout my jr) & sometimes I get page can't be loaded error. I'll hit refresh & my site loads in 3-5 secs. On average it takes my site 20-30+ secs to load. I don't get it because I am running on a VPS with 1gbps network, 8 core Xeon, 6gb ram 150gb ssd. Granted, I have also been running a Shoutcast server & centovacast panel all in the same environment with my jr since 2016. I have cpu limits in place for those apps. All has been fine with my system until about last month (July 2021), when I ran my last round of system updates. Other than that, I have made no other changes on my server & i was wondering if this is a bug? or is their something that I can do to improve the performance of my jr? If interested in seeing the screenshot, please let me know and I will happily send it to you via dm. thanks

Rick

Skins and Modules

Off Topic

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my modules & skins vs updates. Hopefully I will explain this in a manner that makes sense 🤞🏾 as we all know:
1. whenever we update our system, JR will install a separate folder for the updated modules and skins.
2. When I go inside my server and review “the applicable” folder: modules/skins/etc. I see several folders for these plugins/etc arranged by version.

My question: do I necessarily have to keep all of these folders? I mean; are they required by the system to pass along current/past changes to code (if applicable)? I’ve discovered that these outdated folders are adding unnecessary disk space. I’m trying to make sure my JR doesn’t become overloaded OR am I over thinking this. Thanks 🙏🏾

M3U parsing?

Off Topic

Funny you say that because I was thinking the same thing in regards to the module part. I believe JR media management structure is an awesome candidate for this project. I don’t think it would be too complex. #ToTheDocumentation 😆

M3U parsing?

Off Topic

I’m experimenting with building an IPTV Network work and the way things are set up inside my app, content is linked to menu/guide via m3u file. I’m hoping to someday bridge the app with my JR so I can manage a system that is completely inside the cloud

Greetings 🖖🏽 Is it possible for me to setup my JR to parse playlist M3U files like in previous versions of JR? Or if I missed the memo 😬 please point me to the nearest corner 🥳 Thank you

How do I remove inactive Jamroom Sites from my licenses?

Jamroom Developers

I just remembered that I need to turn on my notifications 🤦🏽‍♂️ the domain that was for sale is the system that needed to be removed from my licenses. I really thank you all so much for your assistance in resolving this.
