NVME Bump

I believe ssdnodes just got block storage, I was getting some emails from them about a storage option.

NVME Bump

SSDnodes, who I use, has 2 levels of VPSs, SSD and NVMe. It was a great idea to split it up, people want the NVMe and will pay more.

Themes Suggestion

Hey Michael! I knew about the separation in the ACP and the demos. I remember as a very new person back in 2005, themes were all that I looked at or cared about. Thought maybe just separating them here on the main site would do the numbers I outlined above.

Up to you guys. :)

NVME Bump

I see a bunch of people starting to promote SSD -> NVME. I, myself, won't use SSD hosting any longer.

Maybe offer "new" NVME plans for a price bump. Allow people to switch over to the new plans for X dollars.

I use one host, ssdnodes.com and they do this offer well. They use to only have a SSD plan which was super cheap, KVM, lots of ram and hd space. I bought 2 VMs. Then they got the NVME servers which they marketed at 10x faster. Of course, they were more expensive. My main server runs one of the NVMEs. For 24GB RAM for a 4 core KVM for $29.99 a month... I couldn't say no. I believe that NVME is about $14 a month on the 3 year plan.

Might be something you guys might want to consider. Give people a chance to upgrade and pay more!

Make some money on the bump.

Themes Suggestion

Hey guys! I had a suggestion for the themes. I was looking a the marketplace and thought to myself it would be nice to have all the themes located in a profile called Jamroom Themes. Maybe have a forum there just for theme support requests and feedback.

Having this setup would achieve 4 things:

1. Provide more focus on the themes.

2. Allow 3rd party theme designers to see just the themes and make a determination if they want to start building themes for the Jamroom Theme Marketplace.

3. Removes the themes from the Jamroom Marketplace list. IMO the list is 2 long for the format you've opted to go with - no sorting of any kind, only X number per page, no category storing. If I only want to see modules, I have to go though numerous pages w/ themes taking up a few pages.

4. Create a separation between themes and code. Envato does this well with themeforest.net and codecanyon.net they keep themes separated from code.

Having everything in 1 location probably makes it easier for you guys to manage. But from this side of things, from someone who isn't looking at JR 24/7 and knows every inch of both this website and the core code, it's confusing.

Just my 2 cents.

One thing I was noticing in some RSS descriptions, the feed contained html and images. Those images then appear in the feed widget.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to have a switch which allowed someone to filter the html and images out of the description and only return text. Most of the examples I've seen of images in descriptions were all wrapped in html tags.

Just a thought.
