Meta Tags

Suggestions

Hey Guys

I haven't even been using Jamroom enough to gauge it's SEO capabilities so sorry if this is a ridiculous suggestion.

Extend the Meta Tags to be supported in Form Designer! Why do this?

Well if you could generate meta tag fields on any form, it would really help with SEO in long term, as you would be able to override the default meta tags when posting a new item.

Does that make sense to anyone? I could be totally misunderstanding the point of the Meta Tag manager module here.

I have experienced weird things when clicking on comment links in timeline, a lot of the time it just redirects to the timeline again. This is really confusing and is making me wonder should I disable timeline altogether.

For example, right on jamroom.net

Posted a new Comment on "jr homepage like fb wall":

"Interested to hear too"

But clicking on the jr homepage fb wall link directs me to the jamroom.net homepage.

At a guess I'd imagine comments don't have a notion of individual permalink which is then appended to links in timeline to bring you directly to the comment?

Yes Michael I know Disqus has these but I'd prefer to see them supported in the native comments. Hope you understand.

Woh way too many fields

Thanks, it forced me to find out how to delete fields from the from designer from DB anyway, which will probably come in handy at some other stage. ;)

New - Support Tickets Module

Announcements

blindmime:
I suggest a configuration for support ticket admin email. By quota would be nice. In my situation I have 20 profile admins who manage clients in a marketing/printing company. I would like to assign one to handle the support tickets.

I'd too vote for this, but this module is still very new out in the wild and am sure it will be added.

Ok, what happens is this.

If you try to change the original location field in events module to googlemaps type, add a new event, edit the form again all these fields are added.

Means adding to events will be a bit more involved as you don't really want two location fields.

The screenshot above is of the form designer, it may just be a freak occurrence I will go through it again and report back.
