setting additional admins confusion

im going to attempt to explain my confusing situation clearly so i dont confuse you as much as im confused i created the site with soaringeagle wich got assigned id 1 during import ☮ soaring eagle ॐ was assigned 85 and all my ning data imported there thinking i needed to link them and selecting that profile would make it "active" and the profile id post as i linked them but that didnt give the desired result so i re-linked ☮ soaring eagle ॐ to ☮ soaring eagle ॐ and went into users and...

OMG...Just got off the phone from CANCELING my Ning networks..it's DONE! I'm FREEE!! My new Jamroom site (at fotmd.com) is terrific and hopping busy, my members couldn't care less about our old outdated ning site anymore...it was a total ghost town for the past couple weeks anyway. Cue: one lone tumbleweed blowing through... Such a pleasure dealing with the wonderful Jamroom Team...they are REAL people offering REAL service and REAL support with a smile. A breath of fresh air. Looking for Showcase sites

after final import any hope for duplicate photo deletes

this is a big issue as im constantly clearing image cache to avoid the drive from being too full im at 88% wich i dont know why it gained 3% in a week without awhole lot added (possibly new search database?) and with image cache it gets up to 92% im looking at having to add another drive before it really gains any trafic and thats gonna hurt bad so is there any way to delete duplicates without having to manually delete 67,000 files

Waves hello to fellow (former) Ningsters! After months of lurking, I'm delighted to finally be moving my Ning 2.0 site over to Jamroom. I've got my initial JR site up and installed the modules necessary for an Ning Conversion. I've also installed & then cloned the Ningja skin and will now start customizing it. I cleared the caches and updated config.php. I did not update the www record so I am visiting http://thechocolatelife.com. Click on Login Enter username and password, get the following system level JR error: I did a system check (all green) ran the integrity check and cleared caches and still the same error trying to log in. I changed config.php back (thechocolatelife.info/thechocolatelife) so I can work on the site until I can figure out the login problem. I also updated the www....

Dashboard - users online functionality

On the users online page in the dashboard there are two buttons, 'Log off' and 'Ban IP'. Both of these are currently disabled so don't do anything. Is this a Quota setting somewhere to enable these ? Unfortunately we have the occasionally need to suspend members. We can set their account to inactive but unless we can force the log off ourselves they can remained logged in. So either the code needs to verify if the user is active on each page call and/or the 'Log Off' button needs to work.

Change a member's location for them?

How do I change a member's location for them, in their profile page Sidebar? I'm not seeing and am assuming they are not able to change this profile info for themselves. If it matters, I have two kinds of situations- 1 where the members and their locations have been imported from Ning, and 2 when they are new members who joined after my ning import, and they had punched in their location in their membership application fields. Attached is a screenshot showing what I need to change for them...

Missing groups on Import

We've got 52 groups but only 48 are getting imported. Also quite a few have their logo image missing.

Hi, Looking at Jamroom as an alternative to ning 2 for our clients 13,000 member site. We've got all the ning backup files but when we try to import the members we get the following message :- Alternate JSON decode success - found 0 valid entries No members are created. Any ideas ? Cheers Dave
