making it easier to private message

09/28/15 11:21:44AM, by hypnoscott

Is there a way I can make it easier for people to send private messages? I'm currently just counting on comet chat instead, which is a really lame work around. There's gotta be a setting somewhere. Thanks

Membership segmentation - feature request?

01/06/15 03:34:24PM, by Clay Gordon

Not groups and not quotas. Another form of membership segmentation. I am looking through my profile and I don't see any of the location information that I entered into my profile. What I am really looking for is the member's country of residence so that I can target emails to, say, just members in the UK. The next level up from that would be the ability to group countries together - the EU, Oceania, Africa, etc. and target emails to those people. If people don't enter them in manually (or...

files in groups - transfer issues

10/14/15 06:51:56PM, by hypnoscott

I had a few clients who had files in their groups (mp3s, pdfs, etc) that seem to have been lost in the transfer. I'm using Jamroom Hosting. Is this common? What can we do about it? Some of it was very important.

status posts?

09/28/16 12:30:51PM, by Holly Dilatush

We've just realized that status posts are something else that are not mentioned here: https://www.jamroom.net/ning-to-jamroom/documentation/ning-to-jamroom/3644/ning-2-3-to-jamroom-what-you-need-to-know I don't think they imported for us / don't think they import with your import tool. Is this correct? Does anyone know how / if it's possible to access a list of all status posts on our Ning site? [Some of our status posts turned into very interesting discussion threads. It will be sad...

Images and Galleries - Don't understand the functionality

01/05/15 03:30:53PM, by Clay Gordon

In the topmost screenshot, there are three ways to view images. The first is to click on Images in the top nav. This displays images in reverse chron order based on either _created or _updated. In the module ribbon Gallery takes you to the profile's Image Gallery. In the Stats area, Images: XXX takes you to the profile's Image Gallery. I think this is wrong - it should take the person to a list of images similar to the one displayed when clicking Images from the top nav. It's also...
