Item Tags

  • What it does

Item Tags lets users add tags, or keywords, to items. Clicking a tag lists everything with that tag, across the whole site. A tag cloud shows the most used tags, larger the more they're used.

ACP > Modules > Item Features > Item Tags

  • Setting it up

    In Quota Config:

    • Allowed on Profile: members of this quota can add tags.
    • Show on Detail Pages: this quota's items show a tags section, where tags are added.
    • Tag Own Items Only: members can only tag their own items. Otherwise, they can tag any item.
  • Using tags

On an item's page, users type a tag in the tags section and add it. Each tag links to yoursite.com/tags/(tag), which lists every item with that tag. Profiles have their own tag cloud, and the Tag Cloud widget puts one on a Site Builder page.

Admins aren't limited by the wait timer, word count or length.
