Audio Pro Menu

Using Jamroom

Dazed:
Hey Brian - I noticed in JR6 the index page has a Menu Editor and I can add Menu Links in the header. I was looking for drop down menu items and it does not seem like that can be done. So I wanted to see if I was missing something.

Yep - it's really easy. Just create the sub menu entry, then grab it with your mouse and drag it to the right - you'll see an "indented outline" - drop at and it becomes a child of the item you dropped it under.

Stations and Playlists

Using Jamroom

"Stations" are way easier in Jamroom 5+ than they ever were in Jamroom 4, and are called Playlists. As you surf around the site you can just add items to any number of playlists you want to have.

I've just tested here on Media Pro and don't see any issues. I've attached a screenshot of the icon that you will see next to audio and soundcloud items. If you're getting an error, run an integrity check, as well as check you've added playlist support to those quotas you want to have access.

Audio Pro Menu

Using Jamroom

Dazed:
Is there a way on the audio pro skin to add drop down menus from the editor? I do not see this option.

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean - do you mean the WYSIWYG TinyMCE editor? You can customize the form_editor.tpl in the Core -> template area to suit your needs if you want to change it.

Let me know if that helps.

Managing power users

Using Jamroom

In the "Your Profiles" option in the User Menu, the Home Profile is always the first one - we can look at highlighting that one.

ok now that i switched to new sb i get 2 'ghost" menu items that are empty
www.dreadlockssite.com on either side oh home
you see that

Click on "Menu Editor" in the lower left site builder options and edit the menu to suit your needs.

If you have a custom skin add:

{jrSiteBuilder_menu}

Into your header.tpl - or wherever you want the menu to show.

Possible issue JR6 Audio Pro Groups

Design and Skin Customization

SeanChaney:
I am running Jamroom hosting just upgraded to PHP7 and I think I have just about every single module installed thats available even the paid ones except the $49.00 Chat module. The site started as JR5 then took it through the whole JR6 beta process. I see there are still allot of different versions of each module on the server. Maybe this might be an issue.

I know it is off topic but is it safe to delete previous versions of modules and skins from the server?

Yep - here is the proper way to do it:

1) Go into the ACP -> Core -> Marketplace -> Global Config and set "Marketplace Versions" to the number of versions you want to keep of each item. Set it to like "3" (or what you want) and save.

2) Run an Integrity check and everything will be cleaned up. It will never delete any "active" module or skin, and will only remove older updates that are beyond the number you want to keep.

The results will be logged to your Activity Log.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Is that for your entire existing server or is that the size of your Jamroom? And if you did have 1TB of Jamroom, what do you think a fair price for JR hosted for that size would be?

Thanks!

ok il check that and that sux the old sitebuider was all that worked for me the new 1 has issues

Based on many of your posts you seem to have a number of issues that are unique to your site (such as images not showing under Apache). That would lead me to think there is something unique about your server environment or setup that is not supported or unique to how you are running things.

Have you considered Jamroom Hosted for your JR domains? We're running a special right now - 10% off for the life of your server. Might be worth it for you to not have to worry about your JR installs. Just a thought.
