still have https issues after jr6 update

Installation and Configuration

Make sure you are NOT using the old widget system - you need to be using Site Builder 2.0.

Jamroom is not really involved in your SSL config - you'll need to make sure your data/config/config.php is set with the proper SSL URL AND your .htaccess is set up properly to redirect non-SSL requests to SSL.

Sorry for overlooking your follow up. This is not related to a recent update, but is functionality that has been there for a very long time.

Are you sure the user account has been associated with the profiles?

- New: "Delete All Historical Events" tool in browser to reset datastore
- New: "Wikipedia URL" Global Config option for setting base Wikipedia URL

Let me know how that works for you.

Thanks!

emergency core update disabled site nothings redirecting right

Installation and Configuration

I didn't edit it - the problem was you were still using the Jamroom 5.3 repair.php script - not the JR6 version. I copied the version from jrCore/tools/repair.php.html to your root so the correct one would run.

Your whole server is really messed up. I can't get ANY PHP page to load more than 1 time before the server stops responding.

Here's what you need to do:

1) Load the repair.php script on your domain. If it won't load, restart the web server
2) RUN IT
3) restart web server

Repeat this until the script completes.

Just want to add that I think Lightspeed is a problem. I have to restart the web server when ever I want to re-run the repair.php. And even though the max execution time is set to 3000 in the php.ini file, it is not working correctly.

What I am doing is just re-running repair.php over and over until hopefully it works its way through your server.

Going forward though you should replace lightspeed with Apache.

OK let me check it out again if you've confirmed the memory limit and execution time default is higher.

You CANNOT remove the ini_set()'s in the repair.php for memory limit and time. I have added those back in and it does NOT work.

Here's the deal. You need to fix your PHP install so it works with the repair.php script AS IT IS right now. That's the only way it will run.

That's wrong - you cannot test it that way. You need to JUST load this URL:

http://www.dreadlockssite.com/repair.php

Once that is no longer returning a 500 error we're good to go.
