Activity showing Invalid Modules

Installation and Configuration

Annush:
This time (6th) Site went off. Re-loaded with difficulty but the JrCore folder doesn't seem to open - it jumps to jrCore Release (please see video) Site came on but still problem with functions.

This is wrong - you should NOT be using FTP to manage the module directories on your install - you will break it.

The "jrCore" you see there is a SYMBOLIC LINK - not a directory - trying to "overwrite" that with the version directory will simply break your site.

Do not go into the modules or skins directory on your Jamroom install via FTP - there is no need to.

Random Thoughts

Thanks for the feedback Jimmy - here's some follow up thoughts:

1) Private Notes - a user can't just sign up and send a private note - the user being SENT the private note has to be following the user that is sending.

2) No plans to make 2 separate forum modules. Like almost everything in JR, and "item" has to be tied to a profile. I agree on clearer docs though - that's not hard to do. Note that you can also use the profile domains module to map say "forum.jamroom.net" to your forum profile so it doesn't appear to be on a profile.

3) Yeah this would be custom - that's the first request for anything like this

4) Yeah this is a good idea - could be part of the Mail Support module when it's bounce handler is activated - I'll check this out.

5) You can change the URL for the redirect module to what ever you want (most modules allow the URL to be changed).

6) This isn't an issue with the JR support tickets module if you use Mailgun - it routes everything back to the ticket regardless of where they answer it. It works really well.

I appreciate the feedback :)

Are you going to run 10 live sites or are they going to be test sites?

OK I've removed the server and set you back up on Premium with 6 site licenses - let me know if you see any issues.

Thanks!

OK - I'll shut your server down - let me know if you need time to remove anything from it.

Sure - that saves us form having to pay for your server if you are not going to use it. Note that the reason for that was so if yo report issues with JR it gives us easy access to check it out. Can we get access to your other server if we need to check it out or is all offline?

Nothing has happened to your license. Hosted takes priority if you are a hosted customer since it gets you VIP support. Do you want me to remove your server here and move you back to being just Premium?

No -Stripe is not new. The problem is you are setup as a hosted user here on Jamroom.net (since you have a server). Items are only free if they are installed on your hosted server - not offsite.

The invalid token error means the backend is expecting a payment for the modules, but it's not getting one (the token is the stripe token). Are you installing this on your Hosted server?
