How should password fields be set up?

Using Jamroom

Here's the deal - it's pretty simple: If you set the password fields on the Account Settings form to be required, then your users will be required to change their password every time they want to change ANY account information on the Account Settings form. This is why those fields should not be required.

Dashboard issues

Jamroom Developers

I'm not seeing any issues here - there is an issue where the Visitor count is including Bots when it shouldn't - that is fixed in the next User accounts module release.

Are you using Redis by chance?

Subscriptions Module Question

Using Jamroom

I believe the new Subscriptions module, while still beta, is more stable than the existing FoxyCart module. The reason I have not moved it out of beta yet is that I've been still adding additional features on a fairly regular basis as more corner cases crop up. Note that it will import your existing FoxyCart subscriptions for you from the tools menu.

Audio only streaming on google chrome

Jamroom Developers

I'm not having any issues streaming here on Chrome... make sure you don't have a Chrome plugin that could be blocking the requests.

Very slow website

Installation and Configuration

a "resource issue" means your server cannot process the requests as needed. I doubt it is a JR issue, especially if you are on shared hosting.

Sitebuilder Widget problem and query

Using Jamroom

White Agency:
I've checked the database and it is saved correctly and the page displays the correct results from the search so it's just a rendering issue when editing the widget. Something to do with spaces I believe.

This is already fixed in the Core 6.1.6 beta:

So coming soon :)

How to become a developer?

Jamroom Developers

Right now we are not currently adding any 3rd party developer accounts - for now you can just FTP the custom module up to your site.
