solved Very slow website

Hi,

Mi website devocionmusical.com loads very very slow.

This is what server support told me:

"At the moment it seems the website is slow to load because of a ressource issue
on the server."

Is that related with the JR installation?

That's a very vague statement from your hosting provider and as such its not possible to say what the issue might be.
Get them to give more details, and check that your server meets these Jamroom requirements - https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/getting-started/774/server-requirements

a "resource issue" means your server cannot process the requests as needed. I doubt it is a JR issue, especially if you are on shared hosting.

My experience was that my JR site was as slooooow as molasses when I had it hosted on Arvixe servers. When I'd inquire or complain, they used to typically give me vague responses or tell me I was 'overloading their server'... even when I was the ONLY active member, simply building my site quietly and not running resources at all. From the moment I transferred to Jamroom hosted servers, my site immediately increased in loading speed by more than ten-fold... from a 200 overall performance score (!) to about 2000... and has been speedy and smooth running ever since (for two years now).

Thanks all of you.

This is what support told me now:

"The server has 8 CPU core and the average load is around 10, which means that
request are being queued before the server is able to process them which would
explain the slow website.

I allowed additional memory to the PHP process and the load went down from 12 to
8 at the moment."

- Does it help to understand the issue?

You are sharing this server with many other sites - http://www.viewdns.info/reverseip/?host=devocionmusical.com&t=1 - any one of them could be sucking up all ther server's resources.
