Make sure you have an ACTIVE tree_id - I can see from the partial query above that your tree_id is ZERO which is wrong. Click on "Trees" in the header then select the tree, then go to the ancestor and add a sibling.

Jamroom 5.4.0 beta 1

I've just pushed the beta 1 version of Jamroom 5.4.0 to the marketplace. This has some new features in it that I will cover shortly, but wanted to let everyone know in case they saw it and were wondering what it was

I've pushed a new update that now shows the user activity in the room selected:

- If they have posted in the last 15 minutes they are show as "active"
- If they have posted in the last HOUR (but not in the last 15 minutes) OR they are online on the site but NOT active in the chat room they are shown as "inactive"
- If they are not online they show as offline

Let me know how that works.

Yeah I definitely do not want a message every time the user opens the room, so at this point I think I will just look at a possible update that shows you the online status for the room (i.e if you have not posted in the last 15 minutes it will show you as INACTIVE versus OFFLINE).

OK try the latest chat updates - click on your chat image in the upper left and you can set your online status. Let me know how they works. Note you want to reload your browser javascript so you get the latest.

I'm the opposite - logging out every time I want to change my status would be a pain - especially with 2 factor authentication on. Am working on adding it in to the chat user settings - super easy to set so let's see how you like it.

I personally prefer Debian based systems since I like apt better than yum, but other then that it really should be about what window manager you prefer.
