derrickhand300:The issue may be in the way the pages are created...when i create a new page I just type the url in the browser ie: www.mysite.com/new_page then select the button that says something like " This page does not exist-click this button to create this page"
I wonder if the search index settings are not configured to index these pages made in this manner?

SB pages are not indexed by the search module - right now the search module only indexes ITEMS that are stored in a module data store, and SB pages are not stored in a data store.

I'm not sure how this would be integrated at this point, but if you create an SB page that is an HTML editor and then manually add content to it that way, it's not going to be searched. However - if you create the page and then do a JR core list call for the PAGE CREATOR module and basically "embed" a page that way, that would work.

I will check out getting SB pages supported in the search module though.

derrickhand300:I have tried the rebuild button and let it run all night ( not a very large site) still its not indexing those pages...
Any thoughts?

If it is a small site, the index rebuild should only take a few seconds... Are you still seeing it rebuilding a day later?

Looks like not all the files were uploaded to your server - make sure everything is getting uploaded in to your web root.

Getting Profile Information via proxima

michael:Proxima is not an API for you're jamroom site, its a mobile site backend capable of supporting multiple apps from a single installation.
So you could have multiple apps feeding info to a proxima server and all of those profiles remain unique to the app that created them.
So you will only be able to get information back via proxima that was created via proxima. (because the app's ID '_app_id' will be stored along with the info.)
Profiles created via the web interface will not have an associated _app_id for anything because they were not created via an app, so will not be retrievable via proxima.

This was the case (mostly) with Proxima 1.0, but with Proxima 2.0 things have changed:

1) You can use the Proxima Bridge module to get data from any Jamroom DataStore backed module

2) If you enable the "Single Sign On" option in the Proxima Users module, then your user accounts will be available across all your Proxima apps.

Right now the Proxima User module does NOT include profile information from the JR side, but could do so pretty easily. I'll add that as a TODO on this end and make it an option you can enable in the Proxima User module.

I've not seen this either - makes me think you're running an old version of PHP. Make sure you're running the latest Developer Tools as well - the latest release will suppress PHP notice's that might come out on PHP 7.

Foxycart Payment Question

bmrecords: It would be great if something like this could be developed for Jamroom.
Eg: the Customer buys mp3s from the Artist, the money comes to my PayPal Account, it is then automatically split, with mass payment going to the Artist Paypal Account, and I retain eg: 10% commission.

This is actually how it works in Jamroom. All payments come in to YOUR PayPal account (for example), and then on your schedule you "payout" your profiles based on the percentage you have set in the Quota Config for the FoxyCart module. When you do the payout you be prompted to download a PayPal MassPay CSV file that you can upload to PayPal. Once you have sent the Mas Pay payment, you just "complete" the process and all balances are adjusted according to what was paid out.

That's how we run things here on Jamroom.net and it works great.
