OK, I got it- Done and it's working! :) You were right about why this was happening. thanks

So...is there a pathway to click one's way to the site/user/signup page without having to quaintly type it into my browser window?

When you are logged in, the "create account" link is not shown (since you are already logged in, you don't need one) - so this is one form that you will just want to remember - if you need to adjust the form, just type in the URL.

been almost 2 hours and not done

Go into the ACP -> Core -> Tools -> Queue Viewer and see if there are any queue entries. It definitely should not be taking 2 hours - it could index 20 million items in 2 hours.

little while haha u know how big my site is right ... i expect it to take days at least

It certainly should not take days - even on a very huge site (larger than you) I would expect it be done in less than an hour.

It sounds like you have modified your signup form and set some of the fields to not show to "all". Go to your signup form as the master admin and click on "Form Designer".

Go into each field and make sure the Display Group is set to "all" and then save.

Searching Merchandise Store

Using Jamroom

gary.moncrieff:
Hey

After entering a search term to try out the site search for the merchandise store I noticed no entries were returned for the store. I proceeded to look at the stores datastore and added the two fields

product_title
product_body

to the additional search fields and searched again, once again no store items are showing in search results.

It should be added if I search for something in service shop they show up fine.

This has been fixed in version 1.0.6 of the Store module - it was not "registering" for search support correctly - I've got that fixed so it should be good to go.

Thanks!

not sure if i am or not where do u set that

ACP -> Listing -> Search -> put a check in "Enable Full Text Search" and save. It will take a little bit to build it's index, so don't make any further changes in the search module until the index has been built.

Let me know if that helps.

thats what i figured
and respectfully the jr search has zero relevence even if u search by exact title often its the very last result and the rest are irelevent

Are you using the full text indexing? Results are ranked based on the relevance/density of the words you are searching for.

Yep that's it - I see what you are seeing locally here as well. I'll get it fixed.

Thanks!

Great, thanks Brian :-)

No problem - I've found the root cause of this and will have it fixed in the next gallery module release.

Thanks!
