NEED HELP - godaddy needs to find missing Connection string?
Using Jamroom
Hello, I am not the programmer of my site, so I don't know how to find the answer...Basically, my older version Jamroom (how do I find what the version is?) was taken down by hosting Godaddy.com, but was then restored..however, they said they can't find the connection string (code to talk to the database). Here is how Godaddy put it, if anyone knows where the connection string might be, in what folder, etc??
'Contact Jamroom.net and find out if the location of the connection strings from can be anything other than config/settings.cfg.php depending on your version of Jamroom. If it is then find out where the connection strings are located for your current version.
The file that they give you other than "config/settings.cfg.php" will need to have the information updated with the new database information.'
The message I'm getting on the website is:
Your Jamroom Path appears to be Invalid!
If you are Upgrading from Jamroom version 2.6.x or older, you need to ensure the following entries are set with their correct values in the Jamroom settings file:
config/settings.cfg.php
Note that you can no longer use a value of "detect", as it will not work with Jamroom 4.2.6:
$config['jamroom_path'] = '/home/content/94/13057294/html';
$config['jamroom_url'] = 'http://highfrequencymusic.com';
$config['directory_mode'] = 0755;
$config['file_mode'] = 0644;
The values above are what Jamroom has attempted to determine are the correct values for your server - if they do not work correctly, you will need to ensure the values in the config/settings.cfg.php file are correct - you may need to contact your hosting provider or system administrator for assistance.
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND??
