add photo vs add gallery and still a gallery title issue

i now see an image name as a title... not good that should be the image title ..in some cases the old site the image name was the title because it was the default if they never changed it.....i do not want that ever to happen again! it should not default to the image name the title should be blank but required on add image ass well as edit (well requiredb not reset to blank ofcourse)

next theres no easy 'add a photo" only add a gallery wich you add photos to
instead.. there should bhe an add a photo option..with add to gallery or create new gallery options
the modification should alow move to gallery.... and possibly even copy to gallery but im not sure how i feel about that yet\

the imagename should not show up under it except when oldmembers were lazyand didnt change it
\and should not be the default title


i made title mandatory on modification form but there doesnt seem to be any add photo only add gallery forms i canfind

if we leave it this way most progfiles might end up with 500 galleries with only 1 picture each

instead they should add a photo it default to a default gallery unless they change it or create a new 1

as it is now.. the title has taken the place of the gallery title and image namre has taken the place of the title

it needs alil tweaking
and if they can add a photo instead of add a gallery as the default action when clicking add within the profile gallery that will be way more familiar to ning users and solves the problem of requiring a title on every photo

where the heck is "include profile_header.tpl"

ive been looking through the templates ..all the ones that make any sence to look in trying to find the include profile header template and cant find it
i want to add code like but changed to header obviosly and then in the groups template under the {disable_peofile_sidebar} add a disable profile hesder
(actualy i do think sdimply disabling the header effectively disables the sidebar as well since thats where i found the include sidebar

i just cant seem to find where the include profile headers set up so i can use a simular method to disable both at once for the groups

ofcourse i know iu know where it is and know that this is what we want..i was just hoping i could do it for you...
but alas i cant find the include profile header statement annywhere ive looked

probably not a great idea to ofverride the profile_tabs tpl thnx

and the last peice ..im pretty sure i know the answer but the form it creates in the tab i cant use the form designer i have to create it 100% in the modules php

i might have to get a lil help on this from my freind i know i can make an awesome profile design tool using the form designer but making it into a module will take a bit more learning so unless my freind wants to throw it together it might take a month longer so i can finish off the rest of the site features

my sites pretty heavily modified already

no i know it was and i thanked you for making the mistake cause i was determined to get to the bottom of why im seeing it and strum wasnt (popups disabled i assume) and searching for the answer i found out why my groups was screwed up

and it was cause i left something really stupid in there and that kept that template from updating with the groups module...

so your mistake realllly helped me find my mistake
yours was an innocent oversight mine was just plain stupid

the disable the sidebars in php isnt it and just called from the template
i was looking trying to find how the disablkingthe sidebar was done so i could write my own disable profile header code and just add the tag in where the disable sidebar was
i just couldnt find where the code was i assumeed the sidebar "inclide' nwas wreapped in an if disable sidebar ..do nothing else include sidebar tpl


and now that i think of it my ads in header.tpl so if profileheader tpl was a conditional include .... 5 am i think i got the solution if i can just find where to look ..i do believe i can have a group improvement for u tomorow

and while the group detail page has a there needs to be something that disables the profile header as well
profile menu up (if it has to include the div above where i placed my ad code so be it ill add it another way, but if it can disable everrything up to the..um 1 sec...

well theres a div class container
unfortunately the conttainer contains all including the sidebar
but that containers what i have my profile cover photo attached to wich if everything from that container div to below the profile menu could be hiden odviosly u cant hide the container without hiding everything on the page but maybe u need a header container div that i can add my profilecover class and zindex id to so the header can be disabled like the sidebar

like i said updated only takes into account when u click modify group then ssave nothing you do within the group affects updated listings

none at all but was driving me crazy trying to figure out why strum didnt have it

but
figuring out that damn debug thing got me to fix my groups!
what a stupid mistake that was i was trying to find what that template affected and added a h1 where the heck am i
left it checked and therefore no updated group stuff affected that template see we both missed silly lil things

figuring out yours figured out mine too

so thank you for making a mistake it eventualy helped me out alot!
