Changed IP notification

Using Jamroom

Evening All!

One of my users has said that he is fed up getting so many 'You've logged in from a different IP' notifications. I faintly remember that there was a setting to turn that off, but I'm blowed if I can find it!

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.... :)

Host suggesting problem with .htaccess

Installation and Configuration

Can I just say publicly what absolute heroes Michael, Brian and Paul have been today. Managed to walk into the website presentation with a last-minute transfer of the site from useless Arvixe over to Jamroom hosted. They have been astonishingly helpful (as always), and pulled off nothing short of a miracle.

Well done, all - you did yourself and me proud! :)

Host suggesting problem with .htaccess

Installation and Configuration

Update: Checked the tpl file - no javascript (!) . Uploaded a new .htaccess file -no change.

Followed the instructions here to increase the memory allowance ( https://blog.arvixe.com/setting-custom-php-ini-files-for-your-website/). Created a check file at ourtownstory.co.uk/check.php and the new php.ini file is being used.

Currently running another offline integrity check to see where that gets me. There's something in the back of my mind that is niggling that's related to the parked domain thing. I am now fairly sure the server is working right, but I don't understand the 502 error. And until the Integrity Check on Sunday night, it seemed like a CSS issue - it seemed to be then that it keeled over terminally.

Update again: Offline repair ultimately generated 504 error - took too long to respond :(

Host suggesting problem with .htaccess

Installation and Configuration

This is all from my error logs:

[15-Oct-2017 20:15:34 Europe/Dublin] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8650787 bytes) in /home/iamtimbo/public_html/modules/jrCore-release-6.1.2/lib/misc.php on line 245

Could be my old (from a few weeks ago) memory issue cropping up again...

Host suggesting problem with .htaccess

Installation and Configuration

Thanks, Michael. Nothing so fancy as anything like javascript! Just some border and background stuff. I don't really want to transfer yet, I'm just weighing up my 'not looking like a tool' options! Will investigate the thoughts above...

Or, I suppose, can I get up and moved over to jamroom hosting by 1900 BST on Thursday...?
