Comments/Item Features on Site Builder Pages

Design and Skin Customization

So.......forgive me for I have neglected my Jamroom! It's been 7 or 8 years - in which time I seem to have now have an 11-year old son, who's coding mad, and is now making his first (Minecraft-themed) site.

We're using Site Builder, as it's a bit easier than Page Builder, but as the Site Builder pages don't have an $item_id, we can't add Item Features to a page he's created in that.

Is there a simple way around that? e.g. to convert the page URL to a unique Item ID for the Likes or whatever to attach to?

Not all profile tabs showing up in mobile view when user logged out

So have a lot of people ;-)

I thought they might have!

In this profile, I think they *all* have something in. If it was a content-related thing, the issue would occur in desktop view as well, I would have thought....?

Not all profile tabs showing up in mobile view when user logged out

Using Jamroom

Hello.....

Just noticed - so couldn't tell you how long it's been going on for - when the mobile version of the profile tabs is invoked, if the user is not logged in, not all the tabs show. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to which ones are or aren't - some are Aparna clones, some are standard. Have checked quotas - and it works fine in desktop view.

Any thoughts?

BTW - nice to be back - seem to have some time on my hands!

Forcing users to re-login

Using Jamroom

Under GDPR, users have to not only explicitly consent to each use of data, but we have to record which version of that consent (and when) they did so.

So agreeing to forum notifications (for example) is different to agreeing to receive a newsletter.

Can the ToS module do this?

No comments box on profiles, images or Private Notes for some users

Hi there; reset both caches. Has sorted Safari, but not Chrome, although for some reason the Chrome cache resets always feel quite ‘soft’ for some reason! I’ll carry on poking about.

I have just noticed (having been off the site for a couple of weeks) that the TinyMCE editor is not showing up on iPad on either Safari or Chrome; i have cleared caches...

Payments Beta

Using Jamroom

Hi Brian,

Apologies. I thought that address related to the 'fraud prevention' address on the Stripe API, rather than the delivery address. I'll have a poke about when I get home.

I'll look at the Payments tools again. It must not have sunk in properly.

Updates? I love an update, me!

Payments Beta

Using Jamroom

The new payments module beta looks extremely promising. Have managed to set up the products module, and payments with Stripe. A couple of questions, though...

Firstly, could we have the option to gather the shipping address tickable in the Stripe plugin options, please? Having the seller need to contact the buyer just to get something Stripe can gather anyway is dull.

Secondly - what is the plan for distributing funds to sellers once payment has been taken?

Thanks,

Tim :)
