Favicon Creator Module works great!

Using Jamroom

I just wanted to say that I installed JR's free Favicon Creator module and it worked like a charm.
Note that you need to give it a .png or other image file that is NOT already a pre-existing .ico file... and it makes a nice favicon for you and you can activate it, or make several and switch between them.
Thanks JR Team for a sweet module.
Don't be afraid to try it out, it was easy for me to figure out and it's nice little professional touch for your site.

Something we should keep in mind is that by DEFAULT the Ning 2.0 Archiver tool only downloads the most recent 10,000 of any type of item. Now, there have been instances such as for mine (and maybe for Soaring's too)- where we've asked the Ning tech team to help us with archiving problems and they had told me they purposely lifted the ten thousand limit thing for my network archiver to avoid problems- maybe they did that for SE as well. HOWEVER, just know that others may not have had their limits raised, OR maybe not all of our 'types' of items had their limits raised. It could actually be that the Ning archiver will not download more than 10,000 comments, and it's something that's hard to verify because comments aren't readily visible in a neat folder.

So... all i'm saying is that in the future when Ningers come here they might use the JR import module and then may report that they are 'missing' stuff ...stuff that in fact the Ning Archive tool may not have downloaded to begin with. I'm not saying this is what SE's issue is, but we should just keep this in mind going forward.

Oy.

I DO have Profile Groups installed.

I do "own" Profile Group Discussions and Profile Group Pages, but have not installed them yet.

Now what?

P.S. I updated the core, and now see Ning Group Support, Ningja, and the Ning Import etc amongst the modules waiting for updates, but am not proceeding til I hear what to do about my groups updates from you.

I'm supposed to do this:

How can I "make sure the module is active" without even installing them,as in step 1?:

Brian, I dont seem to even have a module called "Group Support". Am I supposed to?

I am now totally confused as to how to get up to speed on today's updates while attending to the update instructions I have not done from last week.
The re-importing of archive folders shouldnt be a problem once I get to that point, but can you please go in and see if I'm MISSING some module like "Group Support", and are you able to do that stuff from "step 2" and DELETE the modules I no longer need for this update? Sorry, but I'm just not understanding the sequence of what I need to do from last week to today.

P.S. if you are able to do this, feel free to delete all my confusing posts here so others won't get confused by my questions.

Am I supposed to delete any older modules once I have first installed the still pending (owned from last week but still not installed yet) "Profile Group Discussions" and Profile Group Pages". Shoudl I do this all before I go to make today's updates you just posted?

I guess I'm trying to say is I have NOT yet done what you outlined here:

Within videos for example, searching for a video with a keyword like "fiddle".

Or enabling network members to search within Members section for a key word in the profile layouts, such as "Boston" or a first name like "Betty" when they can't remember a last name.

Brian, this is terrific! you're the best!

Question on my specific situation: I held off on updating to the two 'new' Groups modules from a week ago or so, and thus I did not follow the instructions you laid out for updating them and deleting the 'old' group modules.
Should I do all that now BEFORE I update what you released today? OR should I bypass that and simply go directly to updating what you released today and then delete my original group modules that i never updated last week? (ugh, this question is clear as mud, sorry...)
