I also wrote to them suggesting they should delete that weird post from the guy rambling about some mandatory $15/month fees...the fellow is clearly confusing JR with some other platform. Maybe they'll look into it.

Ah, interesting.
I'm wondering if the following is maybe what's going on?...just a theory:
Maybe when Perrie first asked about not allowing members to set their own privacy (let's say for example in her 'regular member' quota), a bunch of them in that quota had ALREADY set their profiles to Private. So then when she adjusted her site settings to not SHOW the privacy setting options to all the members in that quota...it did just what it was supposed to do- it then HID the privacy setting options from all those members. However maybe it doesn't actually reset their options back to public (the site default)...it just takes away their future ability to change their options by HIDING them.
Thus, could it be that these members Perrie is still seeing as 'private' simply had set themselves to private BEFORE she hid their privacy setting options from them?

Are you sure those members are in a quota that you have UNCHECKED the 'show privacy options' box for?

I like the super fast support I get when something goes wrong or when I screw up.

It used to be that I was afraid of the gazillion customizing options available to me for my site. Now a year later I'm still very wary when making customizations, but I really appreciate having infinite options available in customizing my site. I can see myself using Jamroom for future projects as well.

I also like the price tag of Jamroom...leaves me plenty of latte/croissant money in my pocket!

Looks fabulous! My one wish: I can't read quite that fast though, much less get a quick glance at the graphics- I had to keep stopping the video for every new info screen flying by. Just 1 extra second for each screen would have been swell...maybe I'm just too old.
I really love it though- and the music is great- energizing and exciting but not annoying or aggressive. Love the music 'snap shut' at 0:22 and ...wait for it...right before the graphics kick it all into high gear. I had to watch this several times, it was just TOO fun!
