Ah, I see now. The labeling language for the options has confused me, and I assume i can change that in some Language setting in the ACP somewhere... I don't see a 'notifications module' though, nor a likely place in the skin.
Please could you tell me where I can adjust the wording a bit on those notification setting options?

I see what you're saying Brian. I guess I was confused by there being two Group notification options (one for Group watch, one for Group discussions)....but only one option for Forums (one for Forum Category watch, but none for Forum discussions).

Is there a reason why we need a notification option for Group Discussions, but not need one for Forum Discussions? Is it because Group discussions are actually more like Items that are commented on, rather than actual 'discussions'..thus they need the notification setting option? Just trying to wrap my head around this... Thanks

When I view my member Notification settings options, there seems to be a missing option under Forums.
Under Groups, one can check their desired setting to recieve notifications under 'Group Watch' (when any new discussion is created in a Group) or "Group Discussions' (to notify of a new post in a particular Group Discussion they are following)

But when check the Notification setting under Forum, there is only a setting for 'Forum Categories' ...where you can be notified of any new discussion in a whole Category...I assume. There seems to be no notification setting for when you are following a particular Forum Discussion and there's a new post in it.

One can follow an entire Forum Category to get notified of a new discussion created in it, and one can also follow only certain forum discussions for new posts.
Should not there two notification setting options for these two distinct things, as there is for Groups?
I think one is missing for Forums....
And it's possible the Forum Category setting is mislabled and it's actually the Forum Discussions notification setting, and there IS no setting yet for the Forum Categories.

Monstrosity...lol... Hmm, I use Chrome on my ipad almost exclusively (feelin the love!), and I bet hundreds of my network members do too. Synchs everything, plus my calendar, between all 4 platforms on my ipad, my Macbook, my Android phone, and my PC desktop. I know many folks prefer other browsers, but hey Chrome is pretty broadly used.
