Question Regarding Seamless Module Function

Using Jamroom

I made a jrPages page. I didn't know where to add the code so I put it right in tyhe page content- obviously not correct. lol

Which ACP template am I supposed to add the code to? In one of my modules? In my custom active skin, in one of its templates?

Which/where template do I add the code to??

Ok, so I made a new page, put the code within the "" icon in the content box, and I get this...

sigh....

(p.s. I DO have Seamless module activated ...and I do not have Site Builder)

Question Regarding Seamless Module Function

Using Jamroom

I'm sorry...but I have many many templates in my site...WHICH template?? Somewhere in my skin....where?
Talking about the main page first.

(and on profile pages- it would have to show ONLY that member's videos, not all the site members' videos.)

Guess I need to work on one application at a time- like my Index/main page let's say.
For my level, it's like you guys are talking in short hand and I can't grasp it all without step by step spelled out, in complete sentences so I can 'get it'. Going too fast for me and now I'm left behind.

Question Regarding Seamless Module Function

Using Jamroom

Ack! I don't know how to make this happen. :(

I don't have Site Builder and I don't know how to add 'widgets'....or where to put this code. (!!!)

Also...does this fix the issue also on member profile pages, where they still have their member videos separated into 3 differnt tabs?

I do have that template in my custom skin, and the code in it says:
{if $_post.module =='jrForum' && $_profile_id == $_conf.jrNingImport_forum_profile_id}
    {jrProfile_disable_sidebar}
{/if}
<div class="block">
    {$profile_option_content}
</div>
but I still have the problems described above. see screenshots.

Again, I'm suspecting the fix did not fix it for all the tabs, just for the "discussions" tab...not for the other two tab views for "Newest Posts" and "My Posts".

I keep the Ningja skin updated, but- I'm using my CUSTOM Ningja skin. I can pull that update over to my custom skin ----if I knew WHERE to find that particular piece of code!
I am actually suspecting that this was not fixed in all the tabs I'm pointing out in my last screenshot. Maybe some places, but not all. Hence this is still an issue...but not sure yet

If you can point me to the code piece that you say fixed this, then I can make sure it is applied to my custom skin. Then I can check again.
Otherwise...I have a million other places where my custom skin differs from its Ningja 'mother template', so finding that one piece of code would be impossible without you pointing me to it.
Please?- tell me where the code FIX was applied in the Ningja skin?
I have no other way of fixing this.

Branding at top left in a Jamroom skin

Design and Skin Customization

What I did was pull a copy of the default JR logo image from my server, and noted its file size and dimensions and file type. Then I created my own logo that was the same type file and general dimensions, and named it the SAME name (I think it was "logo.png"?). Then I replaced the jr file with my own, on my server, in the same location(s). Then refreshed cache and icons.
My own logo then showed up instead of the JR one, and because nothing else had changed (like especially the image file's name), it still worked as a hotlink to Home page. The key thing here is that the system didn't notice anything had changed.
Later on I played around with making that logo and header taller, etc. You want to keep in mind about mobile devices though, and not force it to be too big.
I guess it's just one way of doing this among various ways. I sort of stumbled into it and it worked.
