Ning To Jamroom

Paul, I plan on changing my Ning signup questions AFTER I go live and import all my current ning members into my JR site. I know they will import along with their old ning signup questions and answers showing in their profile sidebar. My question is this- what will happen to those ning questions and answers once I replace the signup questions with new ones? Will the old ones disappear from the profile page sidebars?, or will they remain and the new ones show up only on new signups?

Douglas, I have 5 moderators for my site. I don't really want them having FULL admin access to all backend settings (just to avoid unfortunate mistakes)...so they are set as "Profile admins". They have already asked me if they'll be able to moderate/edit members' comments if needed. I'm hoping they will be able to do this without being full Admins.

Perrie, when i click on your embedded pic image thumbnail, it opens the whole screenshot up for me.

Also, and not sure if this helps you or not- I got the two Marketplace modules called Editor Image Upload and Editor Embedded Media. I think they enable better ability to add stuff to posts. See the Marketplace descriptions for those two modules. On this support forum, the JR team does not have a bunch of rich text type editors enabled, becuase they want to keep this forum 'all business'. At least that's what I've understood.

With those two modules enabled, when I am posting in my site, I get the following text editor and can embed just about anything right off the bat. Plus, if I click on the tiny video (media) icon, it gives me choices of inserting into my post soundcloud clips, videos, audio, images from local galleries or from my computer, and other options. See screenshot.
I use a profile named "Forums" to 'own' all my site forums. (There are tweaks in the ningja skin made so that the 'Forums' member's profile info doesnt show up in the sidebar).

Ok, it was just those two templates that the newer Ningja has that my older custom ningja skin did not have. I copied them over to my custom skin, I assume it won't screw anything up. Thank yee

p.s. since I don't have the sitebuilder bundle installed, I imagine I should SKIP the other part, like the:
skins/jrNingja/panels/site_builder_package_jrNinja_default.json
please confirm...

and I should just concentrate on copying over the missing templates,

Ok, I got the csv file- it's definitely not laid out in an easy format, despite my trying various settings for the export....BUT it's workable for now and maybe we can get it a bit more ning-user-friendly later down the road. THANK YOU!

(hope my custom skin doesnt explode...going to clone it first for safety!)

Going to go into Filezilla and pull COPIES of the new Ningja templates I don't have...into my Custom Nignja skin and just drop them into the template folder I guess.

Ok, so I'm seeing that my customized Ningja skin does not have some of the templates that the newer Ningja skin has- seamless-video-list and profile-option among them.
How do I deal with this?

Is this because I don't have SiteBuilder added?
Or, should I now somehow copy and pull in those templates that Ningja now has, and add them to my custom skin?

What should I do?
I don't want to miss out on all future improvement that come along, like for example today's change of "profile forum tabs to not show sidebar for main site forum only"
(or is that only for people working through site builder...?)

I need guidance in this issue of my 'missing' custom ningja skin templates. Help please?

New skin update says:
"Ningja Skin changelog Version 1.0.17: - Change: Changed profile forum tabs to not show sidebar for main site forum only. - Update: Updated json file for jrNingja Site Builder."

Can you please tell me where I can find these changes so I can pull them into my custom ningja skin? (we were hoping the templates would be named now when changed...?)

Thanks- waiting for this before I update Ningja skin now.
