I tried both versions, and tested it using my own profile and a regular member profile.
Paul's code is working well for me, then I tried yours which did not work for me, so I went back to Paul's code.
I think this particular issue is solved now for me.

Are you saying I should DELETE (not add) that whole line of code you just posted?- or delete part of it?
...and that would eliminate in the Index page activity timeline:
Comments people make on each other's profile comment walls
and
notices of members now 'following' each other?

Sorry, it's just hard for a non-coder to follow this when it's not exactly specific. (tearing my hair out, want to get this straightened out and done with)

Are you talking about in a template in my Ningja skin?- or in my Core module? which template?
I add the code above?- including the elipsis at the end, and including the quotes?
and...Where exactly do I place this code line?

Question Regarding Seamless Module Function

It seems a lot of us who are coming from ning are wanting to combine all our video sources into one page displaying them together (uploaded vids, vimeo, and youtube). (SoaringE, John Bizley, me, and Curtis here...must be others)
It's on my next to do list as well, and I'll be following this thread to see how it works.

Edit Comments Button

Suggestions

I too think an Edit button for comments is pretty important. Deleting someone's entire comment seems like overkill if they for example posted someone's telephone number without thinking, or included one questionable word or phrase in an otherwise fine or useful comment.
I'm hoping for the Edit Comments (on comment walls) AND Edit Discussion Posts ability for my "profile admin" moderators as well- not just for the owner/master admin.

Yikes! That has not happened to me at all- I am on Ningja skin and not using site builder either, like you. Have you been makingcloned copies of your customized skin every once and a while as you get a lot done? I have never lost a whole bunch of stuff like that. Is there a server backup of your skin from the day before maybe?
