Lora, I can answer this part of your question: no emails will be sent out to your members until you decide to make those emails happen and activate that. It will not happen automatically or accidentally.

Are you referring to importing parts of an older 2.0 ning archive you have?
I believe the JR import tool imports ning content from a ning archive..not from the actual ning site.

Oh- and when you 'import' anything it does not mean it's removing it from your active ning site...in case you were afraid of that. You can fool around on your JR site all you want without 'going live' or notifying or inviting your members.

Paul, would this URL mapper module also work if one's ning url is mysite.ning.com... and that network was going to be deleted by Ning completely after I'm live on JR for a month or so?

Just a wild guess- could it be that you also have it set to show a defined number of entries, so the height won't show expanded unless there is content to fill the space?
