One Login and Password for multiple users

I have over 100 artists who have songs in the system. I'd like for them to be able to see the charts and their artist page. I can't allow public access to the site because of the download issue. I don't want the artists to be able to make changes to their pages.

The ideal solution would be a class of users who could view everything but not be able to download the music. Or limit downloads to a single profile group?

The reason I thought of this one user/one password solution was that I could change it and it would be a temporary way to let them see their stuff.

I can already see the potential problems with this in that I can't control them from going in and making changes to the single account and locking each other out.... so ... I don't know...

I am wondering about setting up a single login and password and giving that to multiple users. Are there any known issues with doing this? My thought is that it could be a temporary way to grant access to a select group of users and then just change the password each month.

So what is the specific template file that must be changed in order for the artist profile page to return/display the AUDIO page or the BLOG page. Right now the default is for the timeline. OR is there some other setting that I can just click a button to change the default page display? I've looked everywhere I can think to look and still can't find it.

Using flashback skin.

What is the skin template file name used for all of the artist profile pages?

I'd like something other than just the timeline to show since we will not be using it.

The ideal artist page would have the artist audio files and then have the blog under it.

It would be great to have a single page that displays everything instead of having to click this and this and this.

I'm using the flashback skin.

Is there a way in JR5 to set up a quota/profile type that would only allow streaming but not downloading?

I have to enable downloading for one group of members but it would sure be an awesome thing if there was a way to set up a quota or profile that when logged in could only stream a song and not be able to download it.

The option now seems to be an all or none option....

I can already tell this is going to be a make or break option for me. I have DJ's who I want to have free access to listen and download for free but I also have artists who want to be able to see beyond the first page of the site....
