Request order of DNS redirect to maintain email continuity.

Installation and Configuration

Thanks Brian,

If I wanted to use the redirect function of Jamroom to forward that email to my gmail.com account, would I proceed as follows?

1) Create site on Jamroom Hosted Server
2) Setup mailgun
3) Create email redirects on Jamroom Hosted Server
4) Update nameservers

In this case, I would be able to redirect the old IMAP account to my gmail account when the nameservers switch over. Is that true?

John

Request order of DNS redirect to maintain email continuity.

Installation and Configuration

Hey all,

I currently host a domain off-site, but only use it for email currently. I plan to migrate this to a new Jamroom hosting, but I want to have the email work seamlessly. Can anyone suggest the order that I should configure mailgun/jamroom and change the redirects from the existing server over to the Jamroom server? I have a rough idea, but I don't want to be guessing. :) Thanks.

index.tpl redirect to existing page

Design and Skin Customization

Hey all,

This is probably a very simple to do, but I am not terribly experience on the code side of things. I would like to redirect index.tpl to an existing page located at /home. My goal is to make /home the default landing page. I think I need to modify the
 {jrCore_include template="index_login.tpl"}
entry, but I am not sure what I should replace it with. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Thanks!

John

{assign var="page_template" value="index"}
{* /////////// DO NOT REMOVE //////////  *}

{jrCore_include template="header.tpl"}

{jrCore_include template="index_login.tpl"}

{jrCore_include template="footer.tpl"}

Phasing out Oneall Login

Installation and Configuration

Hey Zach,

Yes, this is the same trouble my users are seeing. The big problem for me is FB users not being able to access areas they pay for. That said, this appears to be more of an issue between Oneall and FB rather than JR and Oneall.

I will get seemingly random emails from Oneall telling me the FB configuration isn't setup correctly. I contact Oneall support, and they say everything is fine, it was just FB updating. They (Oneall) have no idea why the users can't access certain areas in JR and point to JR support. When I ask why I am getting the strange emails, I get no direct answer, only FB updates and my account is fine. Very frustrating.

Modifying the redirect target of the 'Submit' button on Simple Form

Design and Skin Customization

We can't capture it at signup because we mix consumer and commercial accounts, so some will have more required info than others.

Can I 'force' someone to fill out a form once they have been moved to a new Quota?

If not, I will look into the custom solution. :)

Modifying the redirect target of the 'Submit' button on Simple Form

Design and Skin Customization

My direct questions is:

How can I modify the destination of a user when they click the 'Submit' button on a Simple Form?

Goal:

I would like to add a simple sign up form in front of a subscription purchase. We need more information that what we collect at the user sign up. I am attempting to do the following, but am open to other suggestions.

Click 'Join Graphic' -> Click 'Submit' on JR Simple From -> FoxyCart Checkout

CRM integration

Jamroom Developers

Hey all,

Has anyone successfully integrated a working CRM into their JR stack? I am looking at several solutions and curious if anyone has already tried this. :)
