In March, I signed up to Playwire, as I wanted a premium solution backup just in case YouTube throws its users yet another curve ball. The last one saw me lose monetization on multiple channels.

Unlike YouTube, Playwire embeds video via a Javascript fragment. The forum won't let me post it; so I will put it into a text file and attach same. It won't let me attach a .txt either! Converted to PDF; but this is getting a tiny bit toward the ridiculous side.

I'd also like to know how to embed this in the middle of a user home page if that is possible. The skin I use has a lot of "dead space" if no audio tracks are present; which makes the site look tacky in my eyes. If I could at least place text and video there it would help a lot.

I'll also attach a screen shot of a user home page (record label artist) as it now stands.

That is what I thought also. Why would YT reject its own key? I will send it to you Michael; give me a few...Just sent it. Hope you have better luck than I have.

I also tried to bypass the need for an API Key by adding YouTube to the iframe control list; so far, no dice. Will wait for the server to refresh and see if anything changes.

I've validated my site via Google Search Console. When I try to input my key the form says "Could not connect to YouTube API with provided YouTube v3 API Key credentials". I have the key restricted to http referrers. If I unrestrict it, I get a warning tab. If I restrict it to web servers, cron jobs, etc., I will need the IP addresses of same.

This is getting frustrating, I first tried regenerating the key on Oct 4th; then because it was a Sunday and I thought it might take 24 hours for the key to validate, I waited till the next day. Still got the error message.

Now 14 days later, the key is still giving that error message; does anyone know what to do about it? Without the artists' YouTube videos, the site is incomplete. Until I have all of the media streaming in place, it will be useless to post update blogs for each artist. Until a solution is found, I'm simply going to create a new page on each artist profile, make YT a valid iframe domain and use the new pages to post videos.

I had already tried the built in Chrome equivalent and there were so many depreciated entries I couldn't even figure out where I was. In the JR Style section, core_html.css shows nothing when I use player_bckgrd in the selector section. I may be looking at the wrong file though? I am frustrated now. Going to give up for the time being. Will look back at this thread in a few hours to see if anyone can come up with anything else.

Otherwise, I may just be looking at going to a different CMS; a pity after about $70 spent on addons. A whole year of struggle with nothing to show except a site people complain about the color scheme of is just too much.

This is what I see when I click the Site Builder button on the front page; this doesn't quite look right. Is this supposed to happen? This was 5 minutes ago and the very first time I tried to open the app.

Ok, looks like I need to install Firefox unless this will work with Chrome. Am already subscribed to the channel. Apparently it is not a CSS class I am looking for. in the HTML section of the left Firebug pane that glaring red section lights up when I have player_bckgrd selected; nothing lights up at all when I switch that left pane to CSS.

On the right, there is no corresponding color in either one. in fact when I select CSS on the index page, the entire right pane is blank except for a suggestion that I do a selector search which turns up nothing if CSS is selected when the search term is player_bckgrd.
