Asterisks show either side of text strings when that text string hasn't yet been registered on the database.
Run the Integrity Check and they should go away.

I guess the question might be about an equivalent jr4 ranking url call. If so, there isn't one in jr5 as it was a security problem in jr4 as anyone could expose jr4 site content with it.

Hi Ken. What you suggest is pretty straight forward and can be done at a template level
Is this really something a lot of Ning users will want? If so we can look at making it an option. Or maybe a 'how to' article walking them through how to do it. That'll also teach them about templating

Notes vs Private Notes vs messages...??

From what I've seen of Ning archives so far yes there is a notes archive but often nothing in it. When there is something in it it just seemed to me that they were like notes to oneself. So that is why I built a simple module for them called NingMemo.

Just make two custom 'date' fields, profile_featured_start/end then use $smarty.now to get the current time in the jrCore_ list search fields.

In a departure lounge so working from memory but turn error reporting off otherwise you get a report on every item that already exists. Yes it'll have to loop all through those before it gets to new ones so with your big archives that could take a while. Also your discussion Json file was corrupt so the script has to work through the file looking for errors and building the array by hand which takes time as well.

Groups are only listed after they've been commented on and then by the number of comments they have. That is the skins definition of 'Top Groups'.

Another question.

Design and Skin Customization

When you create a blog, you can create a category.
In subsequent blog creations you can either select that category or create a new one.
