marketplace credit card issue

Using Jamroom

I even tried going with a different email/user. It asked if I wanted to store it as if it was creating a new account and did so apparently successfully, but the transaction then still came back declined after that.

I was able to purchase the module on jamroom.net.

Using Jamroom

Yes. I unchecked Quick Purchase, and then tried to purchase, entering the updated information. It gives me a green OK checkmark in the modal which then fades away, then a warning dialog appears a couple seconds later with the declined message.

Arvixe

Jamroom Hosting

I have jamroom systems on 3 different hosts. jbservers is consistently more sluggish than bluehost. jbservers will hang for long periods and be essentially unusable. bluehost is generally OK, but occasionally drops data connections. Arvixe was not feeling particularly snappy and then started to hang like jbservers so I checked the dashboard.

So far, I'm less than thrilled. The signup process was also not without its bugs. The button to select no new domain produced an error.

If you guys feel good about having vetted their service then I guess I'll see how it goes and hope it feels better moving forward.

Arvixe

Jamroom Hosting

I set up a new arvixe account under the shared pro level.

I'm seeing a 13.40 5min load and an 88% usage on a 2TB drive with 1 cpu. It's sluggish based on my experience with other jamroom systems I run:

Compared to 0.47 5 min load at bluehost (55% usage, 32 cpu's) and 1.23 at jbservers (41% usage, 1 cpu).

I followed jamroom's recommended hosting link and hoped for something better than what I was getting. But, at least today, it's much, much worse.

Using Jamroom

I am having the same issue as in this thread:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/using-jamroom/11105/purchase-was-declined-marketplace-purchase

My card's expiration date was recently updated so Quick Purchase is no longer working. I unchecked the Quick Purchase option and entered the new information, but it's being declined. I double checked my entry.

Pretty sure there is an issue.

Server migration

Using Jamroom

Is there a server migration guide.

Wondering what I need to do to move a jr5 site from one server to another.

form elements not showing to selected quota

Using Jamroom

It appears that I'm having an issue with form elements showing to users in quota I'm selecting the form element to show to. I have Master Admins and on particular quota selected, but the element is only showing to the Master Admin.

moved to subdomain, 403 error

Installation and Configuration

It's interesting having two distinct domains pulling content from the one jamroom database install. I have some ideas where this might be interesting. Just thinking, would there be any issues doing this? Not with Genosis specifically, but having two or more jamroom installs pulling from the same "master" database install.

moved to subdomain, 403 error

Installation and Configuration

I see what happened. To copy the original site, I selected everything in the root directory on the host server and copied it to a directory on my local drive. Then I copied all of that to the new subdomain directory on the host. However, with a module like jrCore which had multiple versioned directories, Filezilla copied each versioned directory, but not the alias. So there wasn't a directory called "jrCore" -- just each versioned directory. Same with the skins.

If I drag the alias directory from the host server to my local drive, it copies the most recent version. So I've done that and the site appears to be working. However, have I lost anything in the process? Just checking.
