Feedback new site builder - Menues gone in slate site builder skin

Using Jamroom

Are the menus there in the jrElastic skin? Might be jrSlate needs an update to make them show up.

I'll go look now.

Thanks very much :)

Another (old) SiteBuilder page only visible to admin

Using Jamroom

Looking at your database, that panel has these details:
192	_created	0	1429291112
192	_updated	0	1429302266
192	_user_id	0	1
192	panel_name	0	nearme
192	_profile_id	0	10
192	panel_template	0	6-6

For some reason while all the _profile_id's of pages like http://ourtownstory.co.uk/dorset are _profile_id = 1

I think thats related.

The admin's profile id changes to the profile he's looking at, so what I think has happened is you've gone to a different profile as the admin, then come back and created the page. The profile id is set to the profile you just visited.

I think changing that _profile_id to 1 might sort it out. I'm reluctant to release a fix for it in case there are other stuff in my version of the old module that's being replaced. (dont want to introduce new issues into a module thats due to be phased out.)

Could you try:
delete the page, visit your home profile of the admin, come back and create the page again.

I think that should fix it. Let me know

They've said they're working on a moudle to go into the marketplace so once that's done I expect it should be much easier.

Photo Pro skin menu

Design and Skin Customization

Looking for the login deatils. Did you send them?

Try running the integrity check too and make sure all the moudles are up to date. The combined audio and combiend video modules take over the /video and /audio urls The jrAudio moves to /uploaded_audio and /uploaded_video

So there could be some conflict there if the old modules are still trying to control the URL's

Updates

Using Jamroom

/skins/(YOUR SKIN)/img/icons_(COLOR)/*

Will over-ride default icons.

So if your want to over-ride:
/modules/jrCore/img/icons_black/arrow-down.png

copy it to:
/modules/jrCore/img/icons_black/arrow-down.png

/skins/(YOUR SKIN)/img/icons_black/arror-down.png

And alter it and upload it.

After uploading, make sure you clear the icon cache:
ACP -> CORE -> RESET CACHE -> (check) Reset Icon Cache

What BCE?

Genosis

Hard to not have religious connotations on a date like 2000. 2000 years since what?

In japan this year its H27. 27th year of the emperor Heysei.

New emperor, new calendar. 2000 is much easier to calculate. :)

Some quick observations on new site builder

Using Jamroom

ah, gotcha. But isn't the purpose of the system to be for those that don't want to look at code? Those that know the code don't need the Site Builder system.

I can see how that can be useful though for bridging the gap for those wanting to get into development.
