Where are my groups after Ning import?
04/15/15 10:21:55PM, by restmin
Okay, I feel silly asking this, but I have watched all the videos and dug as deeply as possible and I am stumped. Basically I need to edit my page I created http://restministriessunroomcom.jamroomhosting.com/groups to other have all the groups listed... or if there is a page already made, link to it. I am hoping I will be able to also have some modules (most popular group, most recently active group, etc.). If this is a module feature can you point me in the right direction?
Sending invite emails via Ning Import
01/24/15 02:48:59PM, by Clay Gordon
I have Mailgun set up. The email utility looks like it's sending out 10 messages four seconds or so. That's a long time until I get to 9000+ Also, encountered a Gateway timeout while sending. Only sent the first 750 according to the progress panel. I am going to have to crash out of this. What will happen?
Importing Ning Backup. I'm I Missing Something Simple?
12/28/14 11:08:09AM, by AndyF
Exactly how do I import my Ning Backup files into my new NINGJA template? Is this a FTP function or is it easily done from the ACP? I've been all over the Ning Import Module and the Import Ning Archive tab and can't figure it out (it's probably something simple that I'm missing).
Getting ready to migrate second Ning site to JR.
02/12/16 12:12:12PM, by ICW
We are getting ready to migrate a second Ning site to JR. It's been quite a while since I did this (about 4 months) and I'm no more tech savvy than I was the last time I did this.... LOL... (although I did try to keep some notes from last time) Can you remind me about what I need to do to get ready to do this and how to schedule the migration? We definitely want to use your import services so that you (Paul?) can help with the migration again this time. Thanks! Deb

I saw in a recent update that it's now safe to delete the Ning Archives in public_html\data\media\0\0\Ning_Archive I have been backing up my site on the desktop for a few days now and it is about finished- as soon as its done I would like to delete this folder as it will free up almost 40GB on my server Am I correct in understanding that it is safe to do this now? Thanks!

A question about moving from Ning to Jamroom
05/10/16 03:10:59PM, by Writer Chick
I was looking at the plans to see which one would be appropriate for me. I only have 594 members, but my storage might be a problem. According to Ning's records (and who knows whether they're accurate or not), I am using 52.45 GB of storage on my site. If that means I have to buy the plan that costs $60 a month, then I'm afraid you're out of my price range. I would not be using my own server, but Jamroom's.
How Easy Is It to Move A Ning 2.0 Site to JamRoom?
09/05/16 06:13:49AM, by SamanthaB
Like many other Ning Creators, I've been notified that the prices have more than doubled and I don't ask members to contribute towards the cost and wish to move my site elsewhere. I created it approx. 7 years ago and don't want to lose the community and all their hard work. My site focuses on members' photos and all the comments other members contribute - if I switched to JamRoom, would those comments be retained? Haven't got a clue what to do next - any help much appreciated. Haven't got a...
New "Ning To Jamroom" Bundle available now
11/10/14 11:52:27AM, by brian
I've just finished uploading and setting up the new Ning specific modules into the Marketplace and have created a special Bundle for Ning Users: https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/bundle/18/ning-to-jamroom Right now it is $99 for early adopters, and that will include professional import assistance from us (while it still in "beta"). We really wanted to get this new bundle online as early as we could, as it allows sites to easily update to newer versions of these modules as we...
