Pages imported from Ning - viewable, properties editable?

The pages imported don't show up when I Browse pages, when I click on Pages in the top nav, or (though they appeared to be assigned to the root admin account), in my profile. I can see that they have been imported when I go to the Page Group Config module. Is there a way to look at or edit pages without having to assign them to a group - most of them are standalone.

See screenshot. I don't want to eliminate the old ning signup profile questions for all my imported members. I'm wanting to know if there is a way for me to EDIT the answers of a specific member- they are asking me if they can change/edit what they had written in about themselves long ago on Ning when they joined. Embedded pictures when moving from Ning to Jamroom?

As I understand it, user pictures can be imported from Ning and in Jamroom they are connected to the user/profile that originally uploaded them in Ning. What happens to pictures that were uploaded directly to blog posts or forum posts in Ning, do they get imported? "Embedded" pictures might the right term? If those pictured do not get imported, does the html that was used to display them stay in blog posts?

I previously requested and received the service of a Ning to JR import while my Ning site was still active, a few months ago. Ning Memo questions - why? and rename URL?

This was never a feature of Ning I ever activated for my community, and it occupies a place somewhere between a Timeline post and a Blog post so I am sort of so-so about it. Any reason why I shouldn't rename the URL (on the info page for the module from "ningmemo" to just "memo"? I want to remove all the Ning-ness I can from my JR community.

Is the Ningja Skin ok for Non-Ning networks?

I'm wondering... if we start developing a site uisng the Ning-ja skin, will it pan out OK if we decide not to import everything from a Ning network, after all? I can envisage wanting to import only the members from the Ning network, or doing it in just small-scale selected batches at first in order to get feedback.

I just started browsing through my 4000 members on my new Jamroom site (which is not live yet), and I began to see suspect user names and upon investigating, some of these profiles were obvious spammers. Their join dates were from various times in the past however, including from years ago. I could not figure out how they slipped by my joinup approval on my Ning site and wound up in my JR site. Then I went on my Ning site and checked my Manage Members area... OMG these were the 250+...

Ning Notes (aka Memo) - "Change Owner" tool available?

Currently it appears that the "Change Item Owner" module does not provide the "Ning Notes" module with a "Change Owner" tool. If that is difficult to build, would it be easier to somehow merge Ning Notes with Pages, and then change ownership from there? The Page Creator module does have the "Change Owner" tool. (I am using JR 6 beta, and the Ningja skin)

Migrating From Ning - Can Large Sites Successfully Migrate?

Hello I would like to migrate my site from NING to another platform such as JAMROOM. My site has 15,000 members and a huge number of photos videos and pages. I am looking for a platform that I can host on my Amazon server and that I control 100% I paid a designer in Italy last year to try and fix/rewrite the code for BUDDYPRESS but in the end it turned out to be impossible to migrate using it. Does anyone have experience migrating a large site to JAMROOM? I would be looking to hire someone...
