Upgrading from existing “Ning” Pages and Discussions modules

Import of Ning members who signed up with facebook/twitter/google

On my ning network, members could sign with social networks using Janrain. What happens to these profiles when they are imported? Would using OneAll allow them to just seamlessly keep signing in through social networks? Or they were transformed into jamroom signup? Thanks!

Some Group pages imported from Ning get 'Not Found'

Just noticing that on a Group I own, there are some Group Pages I imported when migrating from ning...and I had assigned those pages to their proper Group. The pages were created by a regular member Robin, who still 'owns' them. I thought I had these working fine when i migrated a year ago. I can see the pages listed in my group_page module Tool for re-assigning orphan ning pages. The member has assured me they didn't delete those pages. Feature request - Finding active ex-Ning members (Still) in default quota

I transferred my Ning community to JR. My default member quota is fairly restrictive and I actively encourage members to change quotas to reflect their basic interest in being a member of the community. Some members have reported difficulty in seeing the change quota pop-up on their account page. I thought I had got this fixed but I am not entirely sure that this is the case. Members from ning archive are still listed in reverse order

I'm still having an issue with this. When I go to see the overall view of members on (mysite).com/profile ... the 3 or so new members who have joined since I started my JR site are listed first, but then it proceeds to show all members in order of oldest joined first- which is page after page of people who joined my ning site when it began in 2009. You'd have to go to page 184 to see the most recent joined members. That's too creepy and inefficient. And some of the folks on page 1 are known...

During import from Ning to JR, what happens to attached documents (e.g. pdf files)?

My impression is that many photos and attachments associated with content in my former Ning site were held inside the Ning hosting system, and were not or could not be transferred with the .json files. This has resulted in many broken image files where images were embedded in text, and broken download links to pdf files that are no longer present. Inviting 2000+ Ning members to log in - anything I should know before jumping in?

We're just about ready to send out new passwords for the 2000+ members we imported from our Ning sites. Any advice before I go ahead with this? I've done Ning-to-JR migrations before, but nothing with a group this large.
