Importing the Files

1. Open ACP > Modules > Tools > Importer > Import JSON Files.
2. Source JSON Files lists the files on the source site, in the order to import them:
   • files marked (Do this/these first): the members
   • the item files
   • files marked (Do this/these last): comments, likes, playlists, photo albums, tags, group discussions and group pages, which belong to other items
3. Select files and start. A window shows the progress.

Import the members first: items belong to profiles, and fail if their profile doesn't exist yet. You can select all files at once: they're imported in the right order. If you do, turn off Queue Items, so the queue doesn't run them out of order.

• New users are normal users, whatever they were on the source. Make admins again by hand.
• New profiles are active, in the quota given in the JSON (or quota 1 if that quota doesn't exist).
• Importing the same file twice doesn't create duplicates: each imported profile, user and item remembers its export ID.

Run Tools > Convert Media to convert the imported audio and video. See Importer Tools. Then run an Integrity Check and reset the caches.
