  • What it does

Media Limits (module jrUserLimit) sets how many times a day users in a quota can stream or download each kind of media. For example: 20 audio streams a day for free members, unlimited for paying ones. The limits apply to the user doing the playing, not the profile the media belongs to. Master and profile admins aren't limited.

  • Adding a limit

On the Quota Limits Config tab, choose:

    • the Quota the limit is for
    • the Module, such as Audio or Video
    • the Event: Stream File or Download File
    • the Daily Limit

Add one limit for each combination you need. To limit how many items profiles can create each day, see Daily Limits. For monthly limits per IP address, see Play Control.
