Jamroom only streams media to visitors who are using your site. When a page with a media player loads, Jamroom gives the visitor a short-lived play cookie. The stream addresses check for it. Without it, the stream is refused, so other sites can't simply link to your media files and use your bandwidth. Admins aren't checked.
A player on another site, or an app opening a stream address directly, usually doesn't have that cookie, so its streams fail.
Add this line to your site's data/config/config.php file (with your FTP program, or over SSH):
$_conf['jrCore_disable_play_cookies'] = 'on';Streams then play from anywhere. Remove the line to turn the protection back on.
With the check off, anyone can stream or link to your media and use your bandwidth. Turn it off only if you want your media played elsewhere.
Earlier versions of Jamroom used an ALLOW_ALL_DOMAINS value in the Allowed Domains setting. That setting no longer exists.
