I am a long time customer and have JR4. Want to upgrade to JR6 and downloaded the demo premier package to try... I was able to get the Import and Export mod to load, but now I need to make a list of the User IDs I want to Import into the certain quotas (I have 4 quotas). One quota has 197 Artists, and another has 86 Members. The other 2 quotas are small. How do I get a comma delimited list of the IDs of the quotas to put enter into the import field? I don't want to have to go through each of the quotas by hand and make a list. Isn't there some way to query phpmyadmin (I found the IDs but not the quota column or table to do a query). I want to buy JR6, but I need to know what I will end up with up front. Also, I need a classified ads mod. Brian, please respond. Last, groups will not download in the demo premier version. What's up with that?

The Jamroom 4 to 6 import modules do not support importing individual users to specific quotas, only all users in a 'source' quota to a 'target' quota.
Sorry.

Hi Paul, I have 4 quotas in JR4 and made the same 4 in JR6. The help "?" in the import module says to make a comma delimited list of the users by ID number... Is that not necessary? In other words, if I just make the quotas identical, the artists and users will be imported correctly without the comma-delimited list?

Paul, they say one picture is worth a thousand words. Please take a look at this screenshot to fully understand what I'm talkin' 'bout. LOL.

Quote: The help "?" in the import module says to make a comma delimited list of the users by ID number...

The "?" help (your screenshot) refers to Quota IDs, not User IDs so what I described above is still correct.

The quota IDs of your JR4 site may not be the same as the equivilent quota IDs in your JR6 site so this form is where you can 'map' them, so just enter the ID of the JR4 quota next to each JR6 quota as in this case, there is no need for commas and multiple quotas.
Hope that makes sense :-)

Ah, my Qutoa IDs are not the same. I've attached a screen shot of my JR4 quotas... So, would I do the following for JR6?

ID
2 for Artist Cluster
1 for Artist (vault quota)
0,* for Visitor
-1 for Member

Yes, except that with JR4, quota ID 0 was a 'pseudo' quota just for non-logged in visitors that is not used in JR6, so in reality, your JR6 site only needs three quotas.
So maybe delete your JR6 Visitor quota and set up like this -

ID
2 for Artist Cluster
1 for Artist (vault quota)
-1 for Member
