Is it possible to notify users every time a comment is posted in comment threads in which they've posted? This would be extremely awesome for a project I'm working on.

thanks

Looking in the notifications tab here on Jamroom.net I see "new comment posted" ( https://www.jamroom.net/user/notifications) as an option. If thats set to "Send Email" does it give you the result you're looking for?

If you need to go further, then the 'events' and 'listeners' system will provide a way to do it.

"Events and Listeners"

Thanks, Michael. I was hoping for an easy button solution.

ah. Then the answer is, no there is not a button for that.

Other than that button up the top of each thread that looks like a sniper's scope. If the user clicks on that it will turn yellow.

When its yellow, they will be notified whenever there are new posts to the thread.

Sorry, I'm talking about comment threads. As in jrComments for items.

For that you'll need to make a module with a listener which listens for when a comment is posted.
