Hi,

I'm a Jamroom newbie :)

I like what I see so far.

I've created a test site at http://www.new.flightsimulatornetwork.com and I can't see how to add the "View All" links to the Widget titles.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark - Welcome to the Jamroom forum.
With SiteBuilder the widget titles are just for plain text and cannot accept any html.
What you can do is create menu items that link to other pages that list 'all' of an item - create the page and an 'Item List' widget on that page.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the response and the welcome :)

I don't think I explained myself too well. What I'm after is pretty much as shown on one of the Showcase sites - https://www.barklycommunity.org - where they have, e.g. Newest Posts, Newest Members etc with an All link to the right of the title. Tat's exactly what I'm after.

Are these not widgets, but menu items?

The showcase sites are based on our stock skins and were not created with Site Builder. Skins are created via template files that contain html and css code so using them gives many more options as to what can be created.
If you have basic html knowledge, take a look at these skin (and module) templates via the template editors in your site ACP. Elastic is a good one to start with as its a pretty simple layout and you can easily see its structure in the templates.
If you can develop your site using these templates instead of Site Builder, the options are infinite ;-)

Thanks for the info Paul - I just realised that was the case as your reply came in :)

Busy playing with templates now. It's starting to make sense - thanks :)

TIP: If you are developing templates directly using a Jamroom skin as a starting point, clone the skin first (ACP=>Tools=>Developer Tools=>Tools=>Clone Skin), then switch to the cloned skin (make it the active skin) and use that for development.
That way, should any of our skin templates get updated, there is no chance of any of your work being overwritten.

Thanks for the tip, Paul. I'll keep that in mind when I get to work on them.
