Vimeo

Version 2.0.0b1: - New: The privacy hash of an unlisted Vimeo video link (vimeo.com// or ?h=) is kept and used by the player - Vimeo will not play an unlisted video without it - Change: The bundled Vimeo PHP SDK has been replaced by a small built-in API client that verifies TLS against the server's CA store and uses Vimeo API version 3.4 - API calls no longer fail on servers whose libcurl has no default CA path (e.g. Amazon Linux 2023) - Change: Daily Maintenance and the Vimeo Integrity Check now delete an item only when Vimeo reports the video as not found (404) - videos that could not be checked are kept and counted - Change: URL Scan now uses the Vimeo video's name as the link title - Change: The Site Builder widget search now matches the video title only, and the widget config only saves a valid video - Change: A Vimeo video's iframe embed code can now be pasted on the create form - Change: The hourly Vimeo image update makes at most 100 API calls per run and checks a video without an image at most once a day - Change: Search results use the largest available picture up to 640px wide as the thumbnail instead of always the third picture size - Bug Fix: Daily Maintenance and the Vimeo Integrity Check deleted every video they checked when the Vimeo API could not be reached - Bug Fix: Creating a Vimeo item with a refused or expired access token, or with a video ID that does not exist, created an item with an empty title - Bug Fix: URL Scan showed a Vimeo player for a link to a video that does not exist - Bug Fix: Adding a video that was already on the profile created a second item instead of showing "This Vimeo video already uploaded" - Bug Fix: The jrVimeo_embed template function auto played the video for auto_play="off" on PHP 8 (e.g. item pages in skins with Auto Play unchecked), and did not auto play for auto_play="true" on PHP 7 - Bug Fix: Values from the page URL and from the Vimeo API were not validated or escaped before being placed in the URL Scan player, the player width/height, the Site Builder widget config and the Search results - Bug Fix: Showcase and album links (vimeo.com/showcase//video/) were stored with the showcase or album ID instead of the video ID - Bug Fix: Links on other sites whose address contained "vimeo.com/" and a number got a Vimeo player in URL Scan - Bug Fix: The hourly Vimeo image update kept calling the API after Vimeo reported the rate limit as used up - Bug Fix: An empty Site Builder widget search showed "Updated a Vimeo Video" instead of "no vimeo videos were found" - Bug Fix: The social media image used for profiles without a profile image (item_index_meta.tpl) pointed to img/facebook_shared_icon.png, which did not exist - Developer: Removed the listeners that rewrote old http://b.vimeocdn.com artwork URLs -
