Adds a realtime Analytics tab to your site Dashboard
Version 1.1.0b1:
- Change: Values from visitor sessions shown in Who's Online (user and bot names, location, last page and the session details tooltip) are now HTML escaped
- Change: Removed the unused "_rc" referral code counter - it was left from an unfinished tracking tag feature and counted any 8 character _rc value as a referrer
- Change: Blocked Referrers keywords are no longer case sensitive
- Change: Only a leading "www." is removed from referring host names
- Change: The Total Daily Referrers graph leaves out referrers with a blocked keyword, as the Daily Referrals table does
- Change: Only referring host names made of letters, digits, "-", "_" and dots are counted
- Change: The IP address shown in the online user info window is validated and HTML escaped
- Change: The Browser & OS panel is hidden when the session system does not record the browser user agent (the default MySQL sessions do not - Redis sessions do)
- Change: Daily maintenance removes old daily "max online" values
- Change: Times in the Who's Online tables use the site hour format and time zone (they were shown as a 12 hour server time without AM/PM)
- Bug Fix: Logging out did not stick in a browser that had the Analytics dashboard open - the dashboard's live update request saved its logged-in session again when it ended
- Bug Fix: Referring sites whose host name is part of this site's URL (for example "ample.com" on "example.com") were not counted
- Bug Fix: Referral values taken from visitor requests were shown in the Daily Referrals panel without HTML escaping
- Bug Fix: Who's Online on the Analytics dashboard stopped updating after a page reload or with a second dashboard tab open
- Bug Fix: The online user info window failed with a PHP 8 TypeError on sites without the Geo Location module active
- Bug Fix: Showing the dashboard user as online when no other sessions were found failed with a PHP 8 TypeError
- Bug Fix: An unknown event name in the dashboard event stream URL caused a PHP fatal error
- Bug Fix: When Google Charts (gstatic.com) was blocked, every dashboard update raised a javascript error and the header time stopped updating - now only the Locations map is left empty
- Developer: Removed unused code - the page view recording functions and queue worker, the empty Visitors dashboard tab, the cluster page view function and two empty event listeners that ran on every request
- Developer: The unused uri, view, session and referral database tables are removed when the module is updated
- Developer: The live update HTML no longer repeats page scripts in every panel update
