Auto Join main chat room

This has been added to Simple Chat version 1.0.1 - there is a new "Default Public Room" Global Config setting that you can set. If a user has not selected an active chat room, then they will join the room configured.

Looking at this now on my Retina screen, the side by side screenshots are pretty close. The JR video is slightly fuzzier in the clouds, but otherwise looks nice. To be honest I need to see it up close though, so would like to get a link to the actual video so I can run it through conversion here.

Jamroom's Video module optimizes primarily for space - since that is usually of more concern to our customers.

Ideally though you're not having to customize the Video module and it has options in it that satisfy most everyone's needs (i.e. smaller file size, lower quality versus larger file size and higher quality), so can check this out and see if we need a round of updates.

There is no specific function that triggers - the conversion server's Queue Client checks for Queue entries on the Queue Server at the interval set in the conversion server's Queue Client "Watch Rate" global config setting.

The format of the notifications haven't changed - just the layout. In other words, the underlying functionality is the same as it has been since the initial JR5. It used to be that all the options were shown on one page. They still had the same options (do not notify, email or private note - although some do not have private note). They still line up with the same keys. So if a user had a specific setup on the old form, it will still be the same on the new form.

The old way (all on one page) wasn't received very well - we had numerous users ask us to change it since it was "just a wall of text" and presented too many choices at once to the user.

Hopefully this section is mostly "set and forget", and not too much of a burden on your users. If your users are really unhappy with it let us know - we've changed this area a few times and we can always look at changing it again if it offers a clear improvement.
