Installation and Configuration

The URL to the site is wrong - you need to update your public_html/data/config/config.php and make sure the "jrCore_base_url" is correct - i.e.:
$_conf['jrCore_base_url'] = 'http://www.florkz.com';
Right now you have it set to localhost, which is incorrect for the internet.

Installation and Configuration

This is incorrect:
Quote:
localhost/var/www/html2/skins/jrelastic/css/banner.css
You need to "view source" and get the actual CSS URL.

What is the URL to the site?

Profile Comments: Where should they show up?

Ning To Jamroom

Yep - you should be able to add something like this:
                    <div class="block_content">
                        <div class="item">
                            {* bring in module features *}
                            {jrCore_db_get_item module="jrProfile" item_id=$_profile_id assign="item"}
                            {jrCore_item_detail_features module="jrProfile" item=$item}
                        </div>
                    </div>
To your skins/SkinName/profile_index.tpl file - somewhere near the bottom or where you'd like the comments to show up.

Profile Comments: Where should they show up?

Ning To Jamroom

It depends on the skin - I believe the jrNingJa skin by default shows Profile Comments, but most skins do not - they just show comments on the ITEMS that are part of the profile.

What skin are you using?

events setting time options for GMT 0 (NOT London), predicament international RSVPers

Suggestions

Holly Dilatush:
Here's a screenshot showing that I added a post at 00:51:19 GMT on Sept. 19th.
But it's only 20:41 as I write this now... and since we are GMT-4, that means I posted this at 00:41:__, prior to the 'reality' of what the site clock shows!

There server time is always 100% correct :) There may be times where it attempts to ADJUST the time to your settings and gets it wrong (although I think it is all working as it should), but if you POST something to your Jamroom site and it shows a time stamp of 00:51, then that is correct. If your "local clock" on your system shows 00:41, then it means your local system clock is off by 10 minutes and you will need to set the time correctly on your system.

The clock on all Jamroom Hosted servers is synchronized to a network time server and are never off by more than maybe 1 second.

Let me know if that helps.

Module Updates: where are the release notes?

Using Jamroom

Each module has a "View Changelog" button on it's marketplace page - i.e.:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket/247/site-builder

And you can also view the changelog by clicked on the "changes" link in the Marketplace when updating a module.

Your second question is answered here:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/problems/1527/i-just-upgraded-and-lost-my-changes

Let me know if helps.

Bridge Search & Pagination

Proxima

No - that sounds wrong - my guess is you are using BOTH "limit" and "pagebreak" at the same time. If you need pagination do not use "limit" - use ONLY "pagebreak".

Also - unless you need to be able to jump to a page in the result set, use "simplepagebreak" instead of "pagebreak" - it's much faster.

Let me know if that helps.

Bridge Search & Pagination

Proxima

I've pushed new versions of the Proxima Core and Proxima Bridge modules - Proxima Core has been updated with a new "Max Search Results" global config option so you can set it to something higher than the default of 100.

I'd recommend however finding a way to NOT return 500+ results - that's a lot of data to move over the wire, and unless you really need that many results you'll get better performance using smaller result sets.

Let me know if that helps.
