Problem using Change Item Owner in Group discussions

Using Jamroom

I've been busy trying to use my Change Item Owner module Tool for a Group discussion, but no matter what I try it keep schanging the owner of another discussion instead. Now I've got like 8 group discussions assigned to the wrong owners because when I try to fix the first owner-assign error, it goes on to change yet another discussion that I didnt specify...arghhh! (insert hair pulling emoji here) lol

First off, the help instructions on the Change Owner text input boxes are rather confusing, so not sure if I'm doing this right. (I'm referring to Group discussions here, not Forum discussions).
Screenshots are the only way to explain my problem.

So...screenshot 1: Am trying to change the owner of a Group discussion called "Red Wing" from Me to Robin Thompson. Here's how I filled it in, after selecting the live membername (and note that it automatically puts in a space between Strumelia in brackets and the discussion title):

Admin items still not seen in activity feed by members

Using Jamroom

UPdate- have applied the new Core update and the various module updates...March 19. Still not functioning I'm afraid. :(

I know it's been a pain in the butt to resolve and I hate to keep harping on it, but this continues to significantly limit the activity on my site, since I and my six Profile Admin moderators are among THE most active members- we're regularly posting things that stimulate forum activity and encourage members to explore the forums and participate...and most members scan the Main Page "Latest Activity" looking for new posts, items, and discussions to go check out. I naively only became aware of the issue about 4 months ago, though it had been going on without my realizing it for over 10 months.

Here are two screenshots of the Main Page Activity Timeline: one showing what is visible when logged in as an Admin, and the other shows what is visible when logged in as a regular member...

Update- Paul, I have just applied the new Group updates...
As you suggested, I'm now reminding you to remove the template mod you had made on my site as a temporary fix...
Can you remove that mod now please? Thanks!
Then i'll let you know if the problem pops up again. :)

Thanks so much Paul, I'll remember!

I will start a new thread later today about the problem I'm having with my Change Owner module. ;)

Thanks paul. It keeps happening every now and then, but seems to be increasing in frequency. Always one thing in common: happens to my moderators and it's my name under their avatars in a group discussion.

My moderator creates a new discussion in a Group that I created.
In the site's main page Timeline, it shows correctly that she created the new discussion.
However, in clicking on the link in the timeline and going to the disucussion, it then shows her avatar but with my name-link underneath it as the discussion creator.
This has happened quite a few times now, but I've never seen it happen between me and anyone else but my profile-admins (moderators)- that might just be a coincidence.

I'm also having trouble correcting it using the Change Owner tool, but that may or may not be related.

It happened twice today with the same moderator...with my name replacing hers on the group discussions' page. See screenshots please...
