Timestamp: daylight savings adjusted incorrectly?

Using Jamroom

I'm suspecting that our timestamp daylight savings time adjustment (which likely kicked in on sunday night's DST) was perhaps set to adjust/compensate in the wrong direction, or else adjusting an hour too much?
Right now, my site is set to Eastern US time zone, but my site timestamp is now (Monday) showing an hour ahead of our current time. (DST made us set our clocks forward 1 hour on sunday night).
Interestingly, if I reset my Core time setting to Central Time (artificially to pull it back by 1 hour), it pulls it back by TWO hours instead, so I can't 'fake out' fix it that way.

Site Builder Image Slideshow

Using Jamroom

Yeah that's a cool spellcheck tip. I don't use Sitebuilder however, so I'd have to figure it out differently.

I use a 3rd party ad slider (actually, I added two of them side by side) on my main page. It's very cheap, and I only have to go to my slider webpage to add/remove my images when I want...but I don't have to change any code at all when doing this. You can make it any size, speed, effects, etc. If you want to see it in action: fotmd.com
I like it because I didn't have to figure out much and it's easy to edit. Maybe not what you want though.

...and you want the site images to keep rotating in an animated slideshow on your main page?
I understand that you currently must load each new image into your WOW slider, but why are you having to 'change the code' each day?

Remaining bug in the "Like" module...

Using Jamroom

Hi, I appreciate that several little glitches in the 'Like' Module were corrected in the new 5.3 JR version...thanks!

There seems to be a bug remaining for this module- I just noticed it:

When a member (and I've tested both admin and regular members..same for both) 'likes' a FORUM Discussion, it appears fine in the main Activity Feed, and notifications get sent out ok. But- going to the member's profile page drop-down Tab menu for Liked items, there appears the expected TAB for forum discussions Liked...but it's devoid of items. As expected, the Tab will not even appear there until at least one forum discussion is liked...but even after liking several forum discussions, the list remains empty under the TAB. See screenshot. No problem with liked items appearing under the other tabs.

Note- this is NOT a problem for Group Discussions, which are working as expected and get added to the Liked list under the (group) Discuss TAB.

(I assume this glitch happens for 'disliked' Forum Discussions as well... however I only have Likes enabled for my site, so I can't address that.)

On THIS site (jamroom.net), I did a search for "profile name" (for example) and came up with this page of search results:
https://www.jamroom.net/search/results/all/1/4?search_string=profile+name

If you notice- I get Page Not Found when clicking on ANY of the 'Forum Topics' results on the right side of that page, including topics that are current.

Event Notification timing oddness

Using Jamroom

In my Events Calendar module, I had the notification time set for 48 hours before the event start time -for members to be reminded via notification, if they were 'attending' the event. (but I have since set it to 0 to stop all notifications til I figure this issue out)
But my moderator just today received an emailed site notification saying the event she had marked that she would be attending was going to start "soon"....when in fact the event's date was set days ago when created, as not happening until November 2016....I saw it myself when it was created, and it has not changed.

Is this a glitch? Where can I check or see the setting/code for the 'attending member' notification timing for events?

Curtis are you talking about just the images that get uploaded to the site's /gallery section? and uploaded only by you, or by any member?
..and what the heck is that, a raw chicken? l o l
