PayPal Button - Which template for Group pages?

Ning To Jamroom

Oh, darn. I remembered getting my Paypal button to work after adding the 'form' permission. What type of Paypal button are you trying to add? (donation, buying one thing, multiple item choices, etc)

PayPal Button - Which template for Group pages?

Ning To Jamroom

The Paypal button code is going to be a "form" code. Be sure to go to your Core module and Quota Config tab, and add "form" to the list of "allowed html tags" for your Admin permissions. (You may also want to add "table" while you're there, because some Paypal buttons might include options you've added to pick a style or type of thing to buy...and those options are coded as a < table > in your paste-in paypal html code.)

After enabling that, your paypal code should retain its < form target = paypal action = ...> then middle part of the code, and ending in < /form > .

I notice also that you have the exact same image gif added twice. Not sure if you meant that.

Profile character field name limit needed

Using Jamroom

Great, I look forward to it!

Dontcha just hate it when a member chooses a user name like...
"Elizabeth Carroll Hepplewhite (Liz Carroll Hepplewhite)"

Like, can we please get real?? l o l

Plus, then they mess up the nice photo grids because their name takes so much more room than everyone else's. It's a plague, like 'manspreading' on the subway.

Group Member count incorrect

Using Jamroom

I noticed a brand new Group Support update of:

Profile Groups module changelog
Version 1.4.4:
- Bug Fix: in rare instance "group_members" could be corrupted if JSON does not decode correctly

---was this update specifically correcting the recent problem we had with 'disappearing' group members?

Group Member count incorrect

Using Jamroom

Don't know if this is related, but-
I had a ticket last week because just ONE of my 60 groups mysteriously lost all its 106 members except the group owner. (I'm on a customized ningja skin) The members' group content was all still there and complete, but members had been 'unjoined' somehow. I have no idea if my occurrence is related to yours at all, but possibly so. I don't think the cause was found, but the members were retrieved through a backup on my AWS S3. (It wasn't detected for about a week, so I didn't quite have an old enough backup on Jamroom)

Email Delivery Log to the RESCUE! :)

Using Jamroom

Just be careful in those screens...there are an awful lot of dangerous 'delete' buttons...you could nuke your whole site all too easily! ;)

Email Delivery Log to the RESCUE! :)

Using Jamroom

It's not on your site, it's here on jamroom.net. Go to:
1) your profile here (click on your name link)
2) click on "HOSTING" in the right column.
3) click to your Server DASHBOARD
4) under "primary domain" (yoursite.com), go to the right of it and click "settings' button.
5) there you'll find a link to Email Delivery Log. Then ...bookmark it! haha

(Note to others: this tool is for folks who use Jamroom hosting)

where's the jrUser 'bot button' code update located?

Using Jamroom

Yet to doesn't happen for the "Quota Browser"!
Sigh...let's file this issue under "Mystery Issues" for now. You guys have tried real hard, and I appreciate it. Maybe we'll figure it out next year or something!

Happily, if I need something badly that it cut off, I can go on my little MacBook Air and access the column. So it's more a matter of annoyance than anything critical. I'll mark this thread "no solution".

Thank you for trying! :)

Douglas, no my browser view is set to 100%.
In your test, are you going there through the ACP menu (and NOT through the dashboard way)?

Must be something in my custom skin, because here's the difference:

The view is fine if I access those same databrowsers through Dashboard --the "who's online" URL there is for example (mysite).com/core/dashboard/online.
But it's cut off in Safari and Chrome if I access those areas via my ACP menu and the URL there for seeing "who's online" is for example: (mysite).com/user/online.
Those are two different locations for seeing what members are online.
This same cutoff happens for the ACP-accessed Who's Online, User Accounts browser, and Profile Browser. No problems when going through dashboard.

Guess I can workaround by not using the ACP path to get there, and use the dashboard only to access those databrowsers, but it still makes me curious.

But as I said when I get there through the DASHBOARD, everything looks just fine on all platforms and browsers, displaying the whole screen and all columns.
