how does a member email a photo to their photo section?

Using Jamroom

Sorry for the dumb question, but I don't use a smartphone.
Please let me know how to instruct this member properly:

---------------
My member asks: "I used to email pictures from my iPhone directly to my photo album. I suspect that this no longer works since the server has changed over to a new computer. Is there a new address which I should use now to do this?"

I responded to him: "What exactly was the 'old address' you used for this process, when it was working for you on the old site, Phil? That info could help me answer you, since I don't use smartphones for uploading things online."

He replied:
"0it8wd03yb1k43537648255@mountaindulcimer.ning.com"
-----------------------

He tried simply changing the email address he was using from mountaindulcimer.ning.com to my new domain, but of course that didn't work. I don't know where the heck he even got the 0it8wd03yb1k43537648255 part from the old ning site for an uploading email address. His member account simply has an AOL email.

But- is there a simple instruction i should give him so he can use his smartphone to upload a new photo to his JR Photos section via email?
Thanks for any help- I have an ipad, but am clueless about this iphone uploading aspect.

Can't Delete any of my Forum Categories?

Using Jamroom

while logged in as master admin, I go to my Forums 'categories', and I can click on transfer, or modify, each category... but the whole column of buttons for 'delete' is greyed out and unavailable. Why is this? How do I delete one of my forum categories? (my forums are owned by a profile I own that I named "Forums") And I already cleared out all discussions in that category.
I must be overlooking something obvious. thanks

Auto-follow set after posting in a discussion. Other options?

Using Jamroom

Here is a complaint from a member:
"If I post in a discussion, it automatically turns the button Follow yellow on and I get notifications until I turn it back off. If I don't want notifications, but I want to post, I have to make my post, then always turn off the yellow button. So, it is always a two step process when making a post. I almost don't even want to post, because of the hassle of always having to unfollow the thread."

So that's the issue. BUT, when I look at profile accounts Notification TAB Options (and the ?help descriptions) there are two notofications checkboxes that I cannot understand the difference between them, and I can't figure out whether they have something to do with what my member complained about.
Please see my screenshot and help me understand the diff between these two options. The two have confused me for some time.

My goal for my members is not to turn off all notifications in discussions they are purposely following- but rather just to not have everyone set to be 'auto-following' a discussion just because they post in it. I would like them to have to purposely click the Follow button to yellow if they want to receive notifications in a discussion...whether they posted in it or not.

P.S. even when I CREATED this discussion here in this forum, I had to purposely click the Follow button to yellow in order to Follow my OWN discussion...we dont get set to auto-follow here in the JR forum.

Allowing members into groups

Using Jamroom

Well that explains the Page Not Found.
Which is why an "Invite" module would really need to have a 'per quota' control. That way we could set it to be usable by admins only, or by (paying) advertiser quota members, moderators, etc.

I'm thinking Admins can use the Newsletter module- but can we set a newsletter to go out only to members we hand select? (in addition to the choice of sending it out to entire quotas).

embedded Vimeo vids crashing new Firefox on windows...anyone else?

Off Topic

Thanks Douglas I will try that, though restarting FF and testing it over and over for each/all my plugins is something I may have to put off until Monday.

I'm interested in knowing if others on windows are having the same issue with the Firefox/Jamroom/Vimeo combination.

Hmm...when i go to http://fotmd.com/invite/browse or to http://fotmd.com/invite/ ...I get a Page Not Found message.

Is 'invite' a module, or a Site-Builder-only thing?

This is not happening in chrome, IE, or safari on my win7 system. And it's NOT happening on my MacBook on Firefox or Safari. Only on my win PC in latest Firefox browser, and only for all my JR Vimeo vids..

Sending login info to support @ jamroom .net

Douglas, it happens when I click on ANY of the Vimeo vids on my site, all 37 of which can be seen here: http://fotmd.com/vimeo
All other non-vimeo videos play fine.

Remember, this is ONLY happening for me in windows 7 on PC, on latest Firefox version 40.0.3

EDIT: it does NOT crash when i view the vimeo vids on Firefox on my MacBook. Only on Windows FF.

Important point-
When i go here: https://vimeo.com/channels/staffpicks I have no trouble at all playing the vimeo staff picked videos in my Firefox. But when in my Jamroom site, I immediately crash when i click to play my members' embedded Vimeos.
